:rotfl:I have done Bedsit Bob and how our clothes used to be put in front of the fire before we got dressed so they were a little bit warm!

The temp does seem to be dropping really quickly, I put the fire on when I got back from shopping as the living room was 14 degrees and it didn't take long to get to 22 degrees but since having turned it off about 2 hours ago we are down to 19.4

Well ive got my gas heating on , no way whatever I have give up , heating will never be one of them..........Its the middle of winter now , so cold weather is very normal, we did get away with much less heating in September , October and November , so if I have to have it on all day then so be it .......

I will have my fire a light at tea time and the gas heating will go off, I like to have the heating on at 21 degrees, and at that temp I still wear a fleece , I dont like being cold in my own home .............

It's chilly here, I can feel the gusts coming through the double glazing. It must be horrible in other parts of the country. I hope everyone can stay warm through this weather.

    Hi,

Well blimming 'eck it's a windy en today!!!! I've had the heating on since 8 but it's off now and the gas fire is on as we are all in the living room. Oven was on earlier while I did some baking, so that added to the warmth.

Hope everyone stays safe in this horrid weather!

Very windy here in Cornwall, but not as bad as oop north ;)

Heating was on from 7.30am-8.30am. Then off until 2pm. I turned it on a 2pm and it came on intermittently between then and 5.45pm.

Turned it off at 5.45pm and it'll stay off until 7.30am tomorrow.
  • Heating currently off, but it'll be going on shortly, as I'll be having a bath.

It's been sleeting here, and the thermometer in my car says it's down to 3c.

If it freezes overnight, the roads will be lethal.

It's soooo windy here that we have to put the heating on because the house is that much more cold!

I'm not far from Blackpool on the west coast. Bit like 'the girl with the curl' when it's good and when it's bad and all that. We've been watching the sea come over the wall today!!

It's cold in here now - probably 21.5 but feels like about 18 because of the WIND!
