Is your heating ON or OFF?

Well I went to get a onesie and made the huge mistake of trying it on and looking in the mirror so ended up walking out without one!......lol.
They didn't have the one in I fancied though so that didn't help. I shall attempt this again and not try it on and just buy it....as it isn't intended to look great.
Heating on constant today and will probably tomorrow and next day as had surgery this morning (wisdom teeth out) and feeling sorry for myself so deserve to be nice and warm. I have turned the thermostat down a bit though as it isn't that cold today.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
Heating off here.
Hopefully OFF tomorrow too0 -
Heating off all day today.
Have used 9 units (approx 283kWh) in about 50 days.
That's a bit up on the last bill, but I have run the heating twice, so far, this period.
On the up side, my new 15 TOG duvet keeps me lovely and warm. :cool:0 -
The OH & I are experimenting with no gas CH in the mornings, just hot water.
As she is up and out within half an hour we just use a 1Kw electric fan heater in the bedroom whilst we get showered and dressed (we do have an en suite).
I make it (with average winter temperatures) that we save approx 25Kw/h of gas per week, and use just 2.5kw/h of electric, that's approx £2 per week saving - that's just for 1/2 hour of heat per working day.
Not massive I know, but we're not actually saving anything because we're having an extra blast of heat in the evening! Toasty!0 -
Off all day here, 10C outside so quite a warm day for me, been out most of the day anyway but not cold enough to start burning gas now I'm back in for the night. Going to put something in the oven so will leave the oven door open once it's cooked to let a bit of heat spread out for what it's worth...
Bubble wrap is waiting at the sorting office (why do deliveries always come when you're out!?)0 -
Off here and not needed it all day or last night. All of us are in our onesie's (including DH who is currently modelling a Dracula one) and we are all saying it's really warm in the living room and it's 20.4 degrees. DD has had to remove her socks so it must be warm0

Heating off here again today. We have just got home from hospital (my 9 yr old son has broken his ankle..the 2nd time in 6 months!) and it's not that cold.
Seriously considering buying a onsie!0 -
Got bubble wrap today, have put it on my back bedroom, so got heating on for a while just to see if the temperature in there goes up quicker/stays longer. Smallest room in house which I use for work, but might consider living in there for a while lol!0

Had a hospital appointment with eldest DD this morning and no heating on before we went and have come back and......yes, you guessed it the onesie is back on!
Living room at 18 degrees so comfortable enough.0 -
I'm feeling quite warm today, I don't want to turn the heating off but we have the windows open slightly.WantToBeSE wrote: »Heating off here again today. We have just got home from hospital (my 9 yr old son has broken his ankle..the 2nd time in 6 months!) and it's not that cold.
