Sorry - new to these forums - just spotted previous posts re interest , so please ignore my first post!

well I got interest on Saver 6 but cannot work out when the interest rates drops, as I can't find out what date the account was opened, so I've applied for a Natwest easy access internet account at 2.89%

I cleared out my funds except for £1 on 2 August. I moved my interest out a few days ago and rang yesterday to close the account. Immediately afterwards I thought - how am I going to get my tax certificate? Any ideas?

The interest rate for online saver issue 5 is 3.15% for annual gross and AER 2.52% for annual net.

But only for one year from opening account. It then reverts to 0.5% for balances under £25k.
