this is disgraceful, getting beyond a joke.Does anyone know of a tel no that doesn't cost to ring up,like the 0844 no does?

What on earth are they playing at? I have sent them a secure message but i bet they don't hurry to answer!

i have just phoned 0800 0566066 and an waiting to speak to someone!
  • No interest, hmpf.

Another red mark against Santander on my board.

right, update. one very hassled sounding young lady said the interest goes in on the 1st and should show on the 2nd.However they have been having problems(what,Santander have problems,no!!) and are currently working on the systems to get it added sometime today.

If you believe that well...............we can only hope!

i won't hold my breath! useful to find a no that works, though.Good old saynoto0870.com

According to the person I spoke with it probably won't appear visible on accounts until Monday. However, I was offered some 'goodwill' compensation (which appeared in the account within seconds!), so it is worth contacting them.

The explanation was odd - something along the lines that it should have been added at midnight, but it being a weekend day was the issue. Didn't make much sense to me.

Its the usual weekend 48hr shutdown of the Santander computer system, but I have been assured the cleaners switch it back on early Monday morning!

None here either, a Santander mess up/cover up with the usual excuses.

Not appearing in the account is total rubbish. Wages appears on the day its sent, the interest on the monthly saver appears on the day due.

    /sigh
Bring back the days of A&L. I never had any problems at all in over 10yrs of banking.
Accounts opened within 1 day of applying
Interest paid on the spot when due
Money moved between accounts instantly no delay

Since Santander took over everything is delayed and with excuses why when it comes to internet banking. Nothing is simple anymore.

Time for this grumpy customer to move on
    /rant off
(ps. sorry need to let some steam off!)
