I'm ok now thanks KC :A

The kitchen is done, so I feel I've broken the back of the housework now! :j I got a second wind and psychological boost knowing that I'm more organised.

The cupboards have been rearranged and it's created a smidge more room, but the fact remains that for a kitchen 3 times the size of our old one - it has less than half the storage and worktop space. Making Christmas dinner should be interesting......
(I was looking at the Magnetic kitchen sale - 50% off and no VAT, but this year I reckon I can dream on...)

So a coffee break and then I'm going to finish wrapping the pressies! Then tomorrow morning I can fly round with the hoover, then enjoy the festivities :xmastree:
  • Boo to potential lurgy

DD is still feeling poorly and now OS says he doesn't feel too good pretty normal for Christmas really

Glad you are managing to get things done without too much stress I am feeling strangely stress free must have forgotten to do things but if I have I don't care :)

Hope your OH gets better quickly so that you can all enjoy your first Christmas in your new home.

Thanks DT! There are a few things I've forgotten (including sending you a Christmas card :o) but in the main it doesn't really matter.

Glad you feel stress free - that's how it is really meant to be isn't it? Hope you have a lovely one xx

Well I haven't sent you one either :o- actually that is one job I leave to OH he has lovely handwriting - well that's my excuse and I am sticking to it :rotfl:Not sent as many cards this year rather make a donation to charity we always used to send to everyone in the house which is mad when we see each other every day but OH still had to go out and buy more cards so still quite a few sent:(

We are going to have a great Christmas I have decided :D

Thanks Taxi. He said his body is aching and he's fed up now. He reckons he'll be up and about in the morning = let's hope so cos he needs to go to the tip! The bins haven't been emptied for weeks due to the snow and they're full to bursting.

Kids presents wrapped - phew! I hate feeling under the Kosh on Christmas Eve night, so glad it's done. There are a couple of bits that I've hidden upstairs, but I'll let DH do them tomorrow evening, as I'll have the kids in bed early :D

I'm surprised at how awake I am now and pleased with myself that I don't feel stressed. I'm really looking forward to the next few days!
Ho Ho ho - I'm off to bed x
