The way I feel right now - I could nod off right here :o
I'll watch Kirstie on C4+1 whilst tidying the living room and wrapping some more pressies.

Managed to wrap loads of presents and have sorted birthday presents for my Mum, friend's little boy and DD1's friend's party for Saturday :T

All presents for workmates are wrapped and in a bag - just need to write the cards:o Card writing has become a mental block now.

Made around 60 choc krispie buns :j and divided into 2 labelled tins.

Tidied round, loaded washer (twice) and dryer (twice). About to empty dishwasher and iron the few things we need for tomorrow.
Then once I've got my clothes ready for tomorrow - BED!
  • That was some list, hope you managed to get through it.

    Hope your day goes well.

Mac maybe next year a small donation to a charity and quick email to explain to people in lieu of Christmas cards? Personally I think more of us should do this as its such a waste. I do a donation to charity for work colleagues instead of a card but send cards to others but I might have a think about stopping xmas cards altogether in lieu of a more deserving cause next year.

Goodness me that was some list. I admire your staying power!! I am still flybabying and shine my sink every night! So glad you found your phone. And massive hugs regarding your uncle. Hope you have a good and stressfree day xx

  • Gosh - what an evening! A quick question re: things for school clubs. DD goes to breakfast club (at least 3 main staff) and tea-time club (at least 4 key staff). Should I get them all something?? In years gone by I have, but the team has changed this year and tbh with the loft work this year I really can't be spending out too much. Was just thinking of sending in a box of chocs for them all to share - one for breakfast club and one for tea time club.

(I also send in 3 presents - 1 for teacher and 1 for each of her TAs; also an additional 1 for her swimming teacher. It does feel neverending.)

Hi MW Well we are doing a tin of chocs and a couple of pressies for the keyworkers (via my work discount :money: It's good to show appreciation, but we have to draw the line somewhere.

I was shattered today. Got to bed at 12.30, read until 1am, then little DD had her head in my face at 3am (got the fright of my life  :rotfl:), and jumped out of bed at 6am :(
Today went well, got loads done, though ate *far* too many chocs - felt sick, but carried on. I SO want to get fit and health again in the NY.

My friend called round this evening and we had a takeaway and plenty of laughs :D (Wish I could lie in tomorrow :o)
Hope all's well with everyone - off to catch up!
