UG! I sympathise - I used two new websites today, and it was really difficult, I kept going round in circles till I figured out what they wanted me to do - but thats not as bad as you've experienced, sounds like you haven't even been able to buy the tickets. Rats.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

DH suggested I try it via his PC laptop and what do you know - success! :j
I'm really pleased as not only were they the cheapest flights, but also fitted in well, so I'll arrive at 3pm and leave at 9am the following day - perfect! (unless I have the mother of all hangovers that is)
Just need to book a car now and I've seen one for about £25 so all in all it will be less than £100 - well worth it to surprise my favourite uncle0 -

Good evening!
I'm just watching Kirstie and Phil's Christmas, I'm such a sucker for decorations but they look like they've bought the whole bauble shop!
There was freezing fog on the way to work this morning - every branch and blade of grass was white - it looked so magical. So I'm in the festive mood and breaking my self-imposed week night alcohol ban and having a cheeky glass of wine
This week, I'm going to finish the shopping, post my sister's present to the US, write and send my Christmas cards (once I've found my address book).
The biggest job will be to clear out the kids toys. I've got to find the energy to do this otherwise the good work we did decluttering before we moved, will be undone.
Work is going to be very busy for the next 2 weeks, so I'm already counting the days to a few days off!
Hope anyone reading has had a good day0 -
enjoy the wine - I was about to pour one myself but then decided I needed a bit of a detoxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Freezing fog and trees and stuff looked like a Christmas card, just absolutely freezing.

I had a detox of sorts a couple of weeks ago when I had my digestive problem. I cut out wine, caffeine, most diary and white carbs and sugar.
I have to say I felt much better and more calm, but it's a tradition in our place to have a tin of chocolates almost every day - so I'm back on the sugar! (and coffee, bread and wine):o:o

Hi Macgirl
I hope you don't mind me asking. What did you eat on an average day? I think I could do with a detox right now. xThe past is over & done & cannot be changed. Oh I'm not doing *that* much of a detox!! Just think that after a "big" weekend, and another ahead of me, and Christmas the week after that, I really ought to limit my units during the early part of the week!

Thanks Gill - I'm only having the one. I missed the beginning of K&P, so DH and I are watching it on C4+1 - my favourite channel! The cakes look good, but the amount of E numbers look scary to me!
My Mum makes wedding cakes and is very good at sugarcraft, so I might have a go. There's even a cake decorating shop up the road from me :j (though I did spend £26 there in the Summer for DD1's birthday - so perhaps not...)0
