    Thanks DT, hope you manage to get to Glasgow. My colleagues were due to go today, but have cancelled their trip.

    Take care x

    Poor little mite - I've heard of the flat fizzy drink thing too - never worked for a hangover I felt much worse :D might have been that I never waited for it to go flat :o

    I hope she can keep something down soon - glad you've checked with the pharmacist.

    Artwork is great and she will do it again next year :j:j:j:j

    At least I am trying to find a coat now despite my previous denial but haven't got one yet and I have cancelled my trip to Stockport tomorrow so that messes up my planned shopping on the way :(

    Do you have a TK Maxx near you? They always have a good selection.... You will be in shopping heaven in Glasgow though, especially at this time of year! Make sure you go in the little arcade off Buchanan St, can't remember the name, but nice for a coffee and look around.

    RE; the artwork if you let us know what sort of thing you're looking for - even with photos as we can get royalty free ones, we can sort it. I think she just stuck to your style, but she can do anything! (You're a family friend BTW - she'd faint if she knew of my DFW status :o)

    I have a friend :beer::beer::beer::beer:

    Seriously you are nearly df now so what is there to know? ;)

    I don't mind what she produces it is just a relief that I don't have to think of something. :jThat has just reminded me that picking up the cards was one of the jobs I was going to do on my trip tomorrow so I had better go and order them off the net.

    What a day!

    DD1 is *still* being sick. Each time she's been sick, I've tried to make her wait at least 30 minutes until she has a drink (a very helpful nurse gave me this advice years ago on the NHS Direct helpline). She is so thirsty and begs for a drink, so I let her, then she's sick again. We've been on this merry-go-round all day.

    I'm hoping that sleep will break the cycle and she'll be better in the morning. The Pharmacist said there's a lot of it about at the moment, but to ring the Dr first thing if she hasn't improved. DH is in our bedroom doing some work, so she's lying in our bed where he can keep an eye on her (and I can watch Grand Designs and the last episode of Mad Men in peace :j:D)

    REALLY hope that school is open and I can get to work tomorrow, as I've done nothing today :o
