All seems well other than that. I had a dream that I had a full-on beard last night :o Bit random, would love to know what that means - if anything.

:rotfl:And I dreamt all night about having erm lady waxing done  love to know what that means too :rotfl:

Hope you keep getting better throughout the day and can get your important jobs done tonight.

    Take care

House insurance ... your new house *is* insured, isn't it?

    **worried**

Sorry you've got to go into work, but v good that you're taking care of yourself - I'm sitting here in my one comfortable spot in the house - no good having the heating on, as doors and windows are open for the builders, so I've got a coat on, a coat over my lap, and a hot water bottle on my feet :) I know how to live well, I do :)

Lol KM - possibly a reminder to get the job done?!:D

Rest assured KC, new house is indeed insured. We had to have it in time for the funds to be released, prior to exchange.
I wondered if it could be temporarily added to my existing policy - as with new car purchases - but sadly not. So I had to take out a new policy and then cancel the one on the old house once we'd let it.

We got the Landlord's insurance in place, then I rang the house insurance to cancel our policy and get a rebate. All very organised.:A
But when I rang them, the lady was very helpful and said "Yes, just drop us an email and we'll get a cheque in the post".
Of course, I forgot to email them - 3 weeks later :o So I MUST find that tonight.

Also, the solicitors sent through a letter to be signed for transfer of the title deeds from me to me and DH. We had friends over last weekend, so asked them to be independent witnesses.
I put the letter in my bag to post, then possibly took it out again ?!?:o And now can't find it :wall:

So 2 things to hunt down and put to bed tonight. Plus the solicitor emailed today to ask me to ring him..... So an evening of paperwork filing tonight me thinks.

Anyway, felt awful all day. Have been dosing myself with sinus meds - don't know if it's doing any good.
Then I got home to 3 carved pumpkins on the windowsill and one to carve, which I did after tea. Very therapeutic and I'm kind of feeling a bit more like myself :)

    Thanks KC.

I haven't started looking yet as I'm too wound up over little DD...I could easily become an alcoholic because of her

The need to drink wine and eat chocolate is so strong that I'm fighting the urge with every fibre, she is too much.....

And breathe....I'm going to chil out on here for a bit, then tidy round and hopefully find them then. I'm off to Newcastle tomorrow, so need to prepare for that too.
  • Whats up with DD Mac?

I'm too tired to say, she is just *hard* work and honestly has been since day one :(

All the life has been sapped out of me, I'm so tired now, she's killing me....or making me stronger

Glad to hear that you are feeling better, even if it is only temporary and I hope DD doesn't drive you too potty!

I hope you find the missing paperwork soon, your organisational skills sound very much like mine :o

When you are feeling stronger maybe you could think about joining some online parenting site to get advice on how to handle her while looking after your own sanity xx

    Thanks

She's already driven me potty and thankfully I made it through the other side, but just when I think I've conquered her....*sigh*

Once my blood pressure has returned to normal, I'll find the blessed papers. *think I need a PA :D*
