No not sleeping KC, just had to referee the screaming kids  DH had taken some stuff to the tip - after hearing me mumbling to myself that I wanted to get that done - bless him.
He's going to take them out somewhere now, so I will have a sleep.

For the last 2 weeks I've really wished I could take a Monday off, so I can potter and get jobs done in the house. Careful what you wish for eh?! :o

I think you're right though. I've only been really ill once, thank goodness, but it was right after I'd graduated. The last time I felt like this must have been a few Christmases ago, so I guess I've been too hard on myself and as my MiL always says "If you don't stop, the body makes you stop".....

Ha, I'd not heard that saying - very pithy, very appropriate to me. I must remember that :) Have a good sleep.

I don't even think it's a saying, just her wise words. She just often says it to me and her son when she thinks we're working too hard :o

    Hi Macgirl

    sorry you're feeling rough.

Your MIL is right, if you don't stop, your body will do it for you. In fact you've said it to me occasionally, 'its your body telling you to slow down'.

Good on you OH taking the girls out, and to quote my Nan 'rest is it's own medicine'

    Take care

Right that's it. I need to get up, dose myself up and engage with the human race again. Lying in bed is not for me.

Though I have have had a nice afternoon with the Guardian, MSE, Come Dine with Me and How to Prune Apple Trees on You Tube :D

Good Morning. I still feel rough this morning, but had to get up as my back's killing me from being in bed too long. Plus little DD had crawled in next to me, telling me I'm the best Mummy in the World and she hoped I'd be well soon :D

Payday tomorrow - hurrah! A colleague rang me yesterday and said hers was already in the bank - she banks with Barclays as does our company - sadly I don't so have to wait another day :(

Have a good all, the Sun's trying to shine here, so I'm going to have a shower and try and shake this thing off for tomorrow :)

I will, thanks. Can't do much even if I tried! I stopped sneezing after the first day, but think I must have some sort of virus; headache, itchy ears, tickly throat, temperature, general malaise.

As someone said on your thread, think it's the Universe making me chill out :o

There's so much I want to get done today - so frustrating, but I don't have the energy today so it'll have to wait.
