KMS Are planning on doing cards or just single sheets - if you know what I mean? What about something like this I googled engagement invitations and selected images - you might see something there to inspire you. I would suggest making it something straightforward so you can get a production line going.

I do know what you mean, they have asked for cards, i was thinking of using the divine swirls embossing folder with something simple on the front

What about 2 half hearts in same colour but different shades and then joined together with their names in.

Soma - I agree with wanna be pop on when you can. I'm stuggling at the moment to keep up! Works very busy for me too!

Rusty - Your poor DD. Hope things improve for her soon

    Congratulations winner!

Tomsmom - I know what you mean about cards. A card is sometimes the only contact all year!

Rainmac - Glad the fair went well and alot was raised for the school

Kms - Hope you start to feel better soon. Hope the lump turns out to be nothing serious

Anyway, will be busy for the next few days, so may only have a little time to pop in, but will try to keep up. Just finished making my first batch of mince pies. Yummy!

  • just a quick message for soma and kms

kms get checked out, fingers crossed for you xxx
  • Evening!
Soma - just pop on every now and then - we all go awol at times and no one minds

KMS - chin up I would be bricking myself - just make sure you get it checked asap

    OAP - had forgotten about your shiney challenge - OH is working at the mo and there's football on the telly so will go and throw something together now :) Hopefully your cloud will lift mine has been bad for the last couple of weeks but feel a bit better since the weekend {hugs}

Rusty - I used to have nightmares when I was a child it was usually something in my room throwing shadows - I once insisted that one of my dolls was talking to me and refused to have it in the room any more :o

Think I'm getting addicted to brave pills - turned into one of those really irritating reasonable people who has an answer for everything when I tried to upgrade my phone just now - ended up with a Blackberry Torch for nowt when they started off trying to charge me £179 :eek: - had spoken to so many horrible people about their bins today was more than prepared :rotfl::rotfl:

If anyone else had told me they hadn't had their bin emptied for a fortnight and then gone on to say well cars can get up and down the road and I don't see why they can't take them to the end of the street and bring them back coz I'm not walking on those pavements I would have told them where to stick their bins :rotfl: Fortunately I don't have to take any more calls till Friday :) Why are people so unreasonable???
Most fun I've had in ages I love a good row :D
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
  • Just popping on quickly before going to collect dd from school - why oh why do schools put everything on in the last week of the Xmas term - and breathe.....

Soma - don't go. Just pop in and out as you need - I went awol for a couple of months but came back :o.

Rusty - it could just be this time of year, I remember dd getting completely overwrought around Xmas when she was a littlie - there was just too much going on for her little brain to process. Maybe try as much down time as possible to balance the excitement. Another thought, maybe check her temperature, does she have a low grade fever.

Rainmac - congrats on the fair. That's a good amount of money to raise.

TomsMom - I am just like you. I have a good number of people on my Xmas card list where the only contact is the annual Xmas card. I have people who I haven't seen since my wedding 20 years ago plus relatives who I wouldn't know if I passed them in the street. I am thinking that a Xmas card cull is in order for next year - my mother thinks that's dreadful but tbh in my eyes it's very mse and eco-friendly.

Trying to get as much done as poss before the return of the cold weather on Thursday. Take care all, Thriftyxxx
  • KMS sending you hugs
