Afternoon ladies. Just taking a break from clearing the dining room - decided to temporarily re-jig the conservatory and make that my craft room. So instead of just moving everything straight in there I decided to have a sort out of things - such a bad move
I'm shocked at how much stuff I've accumalated in less than a year!! I have binned three carrier bags full of scraps of paper and card. So my new years resolution is to bin all the scraps and not hoard them.
KMS - hope you got on OK at the DR's x
Rainmac - well done that's an amazing amount to raise
Craftygranny - you made me LOL at the comment re the weather and your husband!
The- Wife - glad you had a goodtime with your family and how exciting that your family from Canada is coming over. Enjoy your family party.
Peppop - that hot choccie looks lush, shall i bake a nice batch of Christmas cookies to go with it?
Artydoll - I wonder if it's the weather we're having? My gran and sil are both in agony with their legs atm. Hope you get a referral soon.
Glittermum - that's so sad, I hope things workout for the family.
I can't remember what else I've read, so sorry if I've missed anyone out. Sending hugs to anyone that needs them - best get back to my duties (still can't see why we can't have a TV Christmas dinner).

Would someone urgently be able to send me the address list to jazabelle@gmail.com or tell me what the words in the title were please? I've been searching like mad with no luck!
I have my secret santa present ready to go, but typical me leaving everything til the last second - I need to leave in about five minutes!
Thank you! I got it!"There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -

hi everyone, I'm back again! I havent read through properly, have only had chance to skim through to big hugs to anyone who needs them xx I've been so busy I just dont know where my time is going and I'm not very good company at the moment anyway
Hope you're all still keeping well after the cold snap, my poor car isnt' thoughI went home at lunch last tuesday and parked outside my house, in the 45 mins I was there someone rammed into my car and just left without leaving a note or anything  I am still so angry, apparently none of the neighbours saw anything and as our lounge is at the back of the house we didnt hear it either. it's going in to be fixed on friday but it's £240 I havent got at the moment
I did notice all the chatter about xmas cards, I was planning to send you all one but considering the above I dont think I'll be able to afford the postage this year0 -
Thanks for all the hugs and good wishes, jusy came back from mr Ts, took me and my OH 2 hrs to do a shop that normally would take an hour,The till operator was the most bored male teenager I have ever seen, and I,ve seen a few, especially my own brood.
Why does everyone panic buy?
If I aint got it now,I dont need it.
Im having an hour on here to stop me thinking of my aching knees, then I want to rope my OH into helping me do the tree.fingers crossed girls.
xxEarnings £245 in 2014:T thanks to swagbucks0 -
Awww no Gemm, it's the last thing you want at this time of year. At least you weren't in the car, that's the important thing.
Can't remember much of what I've read - sorrybut special thoughts to KMS and Glittermum's friend's children.
My ever so thoughtful oh has given me 'flu. I was poorly 6 weeks ago with what I thought was flu - nope that was just a very bad cold. THIS is 'flu.... I'm so glad my two are old enough to look after themselves and I have the luxury of staying in bed.
That hot chocolate looks nice - haha, not much takes effect on my appetite. Take care allxxx0 -
KMS Sorry to hear about your lump. Hope it all goes well at the Drs, do let us know. I had loads of lumps at one time, 13 over a period of time, went to hospital for most of them but they were all cysts and were aspirated. Dr said it was because I was peri-menopausal and they should stop once I reached menopause, and he was right!
Gemm Sorry about your car. What a rotten trick for the driver to just drive away. Hopefully it will happen to him and he'll know what it feels like. Hope he has a rotten Christmas!
Wifey Sounds like you're going to have an exciting family Christmas, how lovely!
Glittermum So sad for your friend, and it couldn't happen at a worse time.
Artydoll Big hugs, hope your legs are a bit better soon.
Thrify Get well soon, you can't be poorly over Christmas.
We have the most beautiful blue sky and brilliant sunshine today, looking out the window it looks like summer but it's really cold. Doesn't look very good for later in the week does it.
DS has been offered a cancellation and he is having his op tomorrow instead of Christmas Eve :T, he's at the hospital having his pre-op tests today. And son-in-law has been called for a second interview for a job he recently applied for, that's tomorrow too. What a nice Christmas present it would be for them if he's offered the job before Christmas.0
