  • LOL - Craftygranny glad I'm not the only one. Anyway as of today no more hoarding of scraps for me, and the big advantage is that my stash pile looks a lot smaller (so should be able to add to it without any grumbles from OH) ;) Only thing is not sure I'm going to be able to find anything, it's way too neat and tidy!

    - my DD is tall 5ft7 already and she's only 12, but most of her friends are that height and a couple are 5ft9. I think girls today are a lot taller than when we were kids - I'm quite jealous really as I'd love to be taller cos it makes you look slimmer :)

    Me too - only I say "I'm not overweight I'm undertall!":rotfl:

Tomsmum - good news for your son & SIL - hope all goes well with the op.

Dragonllew - Brilliant news for your DH :j

Kms - good result for you:j Are they going to treat you or leave it alone?

Gemm - Welcome Back! What a mean trick for them to do to you. And the inconvenience at this time of the year too! Hope it is fixed soon.

Wanna B - Huge congratulations on your major re sort to find your dining room. I'm hoping to finish sorting my stash over the holidays, I did make a start a few weeks ago but wasn't ruthless enough......

Glittermum - The sadness and plight of your friend certainly puts things in perspective doesn't it? How traumatic for them all. x

Hugs for anyone I may have forgotten - sorry :o

OAP - I've put a little something on my you-know-what for your challenge. Thanks for setting it.

Am currently having a major panic about Christmas - still haven't bought "&son"s present and 6 other gifts are in the Royal Mail black hole. As soon as I get them I have to wrap them up and throw them back into the vortex in the hope they'll arrive on time. Still waiting for my craftwork cards order too.

Sorry guys I'm one of the tall ones - I'm between 5ft9 and 5ft10 and have been since I was 12 - not great then but I loved it when I was in my early twenties and a size 8 - those were the days...

KMS So pleased it turned out to be nothing to worry about. It's great that you got it all sorted today, I was always (except one) referred to hospital and that usually took two weeks for the appointment to come through.

Dragonllew Fab news about your OH and well done on your win :T.

Now I know why I don't bother visiting The Moneysavers Arms ;).

This sounds familiar i was the same but an inch shorter . I'd need to be about 12 feet tall to balance out these days .:rotfl:

All 4 of my sons are over 6 ft tall and i feel like a midget especially when i'm trying to tell one of them off for winding up the others and they pat me on the head just because they can lol.

    At least my daughters only 5ft 7 . :D

Hello.... smee again....can't sleep and I have finished my book so thought I would have a trawl.

I see some strange posts!! whats that all about lol

Dragonllew great news about your DH

kms what a relief for you, I'm so pleased you were told quickly

Marg, Craftygranny I'm a member of the undertall club too. PepPop size 8!! I have been a size 7 since I was about 15 unfortunately thats my shoe size lol

Wifey I'm glad you had such a good time in York, its a really beautiful city. I love a walk round the walls in spring when all the daffodils are out on the banking, you can have a good old nosey in other peoples gardens too.

Sorry to hear about the Craftworks Orders, I got mine last week but I did only order the goody bags. I wonder if they are waiting for more stock, they were a real bargain.

Yippee I have done all my Christmas shopping, posted the last of my cards and a couple of packets, just hope they arrive. Willows play tomorrow Cinderella, she has been learning 4 Take That songs for it, so that should be interesting :) My DIL managed to get a spare ticket for my Mum so she is very happy, it will be the first time she has been to see Willow at school. Front row will be her Mum, Grandma and Great Grandma :)

No crafting done today just a few bits on my homepage that I have been making. I really need to tidy up my craft room its like a tip, I might feel like making some birthday cards ready for next year then.
