Ali Your OH sounds like mine - the last time we went to France we went by train. Don't know what we're gonna do when I tell him we'll have to visit his brother in Australia - he said he's getting the boat and will meet me there :rotfl: (he even discovered that you can go by train right the way to Singapore and then catch a boat from there - think I'll just hit him over the head and wake him up when we need to get off the plane :rotfl:)

peppop- lol. I keep hinting about a nice little jolly in the sun - short flight - nah - we've done Newcastle - Paris - he was stressed to death - kids loved it - I just needed a bottle of wine!!

Another brief read/appearance from me. The MIL situation is still up and down, and me with it! Hoping sister in law can manage to get over here at weekend to give us a bit of respite.

Ali.b - hope you get your c/c sorted soon, I'm like you and until I'd got the credit back I wouldn't believe it.

Wifey - forgot to say earlier, glad you had a good time 'Up North' & I hope you are feeling better and no more steroids.

OAP - I'm very sorry, I haven't got time/concentration to do your challenge. My head is all over the place.

Tomsmum - Hope the successful op for your son marks a turnaround for your family and your DH gets home safe at weekend.

PepPop - I remember, I think it was, Ashley, in corrie having to get a cargo boat back from his honeymoon because of a fear of flying!

Interesting, the different ways we use to get on here. I wouldn't know where to find us in the big MSE scheme of things. I have notifications by email when new posts are made.

OAP my challenge project is on my blog, second post down, 3 little boxes, I used gold shiny boxes, covered in gold paper and then mounted image on mirri board and used glitter on fluffy stuff! Hope that's ok.

Bunbun, need to call you in the morning! Hope you get your parcel! I wonuld have seriously kicked off! Mine came by courier not royal mail?

Cant stop as I am knackered! Going to head to bed as I have dd all day tomorrow and fir as nursery has finished.

thanks for making me feel so welcome, I think I shall take the offer of just popping in every now and again. I have 2 1/2 weeks off for christmas so maybe able to catch up then I love looking at people's blogs when I have the time. I just felt so guilty when I was so behind with blog commenting and chatting on here. I haven't made a card for over a month!

Don't worry - no one on this thread will judge you on how many times you post!!! I didn't post for a while as I was busy making stuff to sell at a Christmas Fair and I tried to read to keep up to date but didn't comment. I made cards on Monday for the first time in ages!!! I think it will be like that for alot of people at the moment as lots of other things going on!!! Just comment when you want!!!

Only got part caught up, but have to go to work now. Working to 5.30 every day is killing me. I'm not used to working full time! Hugs to everyone x

Soma, I'm sure everyone will agree that we'd rather see you when you're ready than not at all. Life seems to get in the way for all of us. I've put hardly a thing on my blog for a couple of months, that's going to be my New Years resolution, do more, enter more challenges etc.

TomsMom that's cheering news about your DS, hoping your OH makes it home safely.

Rusty, I do hope the pain eases for you, we all seem to burn ourselves out trying to make everything perfect for our families. I've been doing just that for the last 30 odd years and still haven't learned my lesson :D When they've all gone I shall go into hibernation and just sleep.

Soma Seriously we all disappear every now and then - earlier on in the year I vanished for a couple of months but everyone understands and just likes to hear from you when you can.
