  • Morning - I'm part of the undertall club as well at 5'2" - just waiting for DD to start patting me on the head (next week probably) :rotfl:

I just have DD's presents to wrap now plus tidy the house up a bit before we put the tree up.

Peppop - they should be on their way to empty your bin as they did mine this morning :rotfl::rotfl:

Glittermum - that's awful news for your friend especially at this time of year children are very resillient so hopefully it will work out for the best.

Bunbun - sorry but your card may well be late as I won't be able to post it till this afternoon
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
  • KMS :j Fabulous news

Dragonllew Congratulations to your Hubby on his new job

    TomsMom
Lets hope your family gets some good news for a change, you deserve it

Glittermum how tragic for your friend at this time of year

Wanna B Hope you can find things now you have tidied up! Just about every project I have made I have had to hunt for something I lost in my clean up ;)

Erm can't remember anything else I have read sorry.

OH is working 12 hour shifts all week, he then announced he is going out on Saturday night. So that leaves me to finish all the Christmas cards and crafting (not that he does any crafting!), wrap all the presents, clean the house from top to bottom as we are going away on Tuesday and his brother is house sitting while we are away to be nearer their family, get all the stuff ready for holiday
I had a bit of a hissy fit and all he says is 'I don't know why you are getting stressed we are going away!!)
He thinks we will be going out for lunch on Sunday but we will be doing the rounds dropping presents off :p

Dragonllew brilliant news for your OH and YAY! for the win.

CG you're gonna have to tell those lads of yours to stop patting you on the head, it defo makes you shorter, I can vouch for it. I used to be 5.7" now I'm 5.4". Size 8, wow! that's one leg for me.

TomsMom eyes and fingers and toes crossed for some good news (THUD!) oops! fell over again! :D

How on earth did we land up here????????????? Mods! Explain, please????

Can you see me getting greener by the minute??:rotfl:

I just wish I was still that thin.... :(

Craftygranny My big sister had the same problem with me cos she's 5ft1 1/2 (don't forget the 1/2 :D). She used to stand on a chair :rotfl:

Flourgirl Hope you have a fantastic time at Cinderella

Padster OH calls me shrimp cos he's 6ft3 - I actually quite like being small for a change - although it's great for going to gigs

MadFrog - I'm convinced OHs assume there are elves and fairies for all those sorts of things

Still no sign of my craftwork cards order - I rang today and they confirmed definitely sent out Monday - exactly 2 weeks after placing order.
The chap I spoke to was distinctly unhelpful and said that the issue was sheer volume of orders - no apology. I asked why they hadn;t sent out an email to advise of the delay and he said they couldn't. very unimpressed.
I asked for mine to be delivered to my parents house but they're now out of the country until the 22nd so it's not looking good for the gifts included in my order.
Off out Christmas shopping tonight to try and buy some more presents in case the ones that are currently in the royal Mail balck hole don't appear in time.

I'm so sorry for the late Craftwork Cards orders especially with me posting the links. I got mine last week and I was really pleased with most of the contents of the goody bags. I had one sheet I haven't got a clue what to do with, it's just outline images, not sure if you can colour them.

DTB I have a feeling you were being fobbed off there, if they got your order by the internet surely they can answer you, if not a bulk mailing telling everyone that their orders may be subject to delay might have helped.

I'm kinda breathing a sigh of relief that I didn't order from them - I was gonna order one to put it in with my Secret Santa and changed my mind at the last minute. I really think they should have let everyone know of the delays. I noticed my local craft shop selling them the last time I was in - maybe that's the problem, all these people have taken priority instead or their usual customers.

thrifty hope you get over your flu very soon x

KMS so pleased your lump is nothing to worry about

Tomsmom hope your DS's op goes well!

Dragonllew well done to your OH on the job! and a crafty ribbons voucher too, things are definitely looking up for you!

I save all offcuts that are bigger than the palm of my hand, if they are smaller then they go in the bin! I used to save them all but it was getting a bit ridiculous ;) lol

I did order a CWC pack (for me from the Kits for Xmas :D) and it came the end of last week.

hope everyones ok, have heard we are due more snow tomorrow and over the weekend :( feel like wrapping my car up in bubblewrap this time lol
