I have a sub to Cardmaking & papercrafting mag - they currently have an offer on here Which is great value for money :) They usually have great free gifts plus they sometimes have free MME papers :D

Congrats to our latest winners and to whoever got a letter published (sorry can't remember who it was as am starving :p)
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
  • And I know you've probably all seen these before, but as I found them when researching the magazine thing - it started as a free download of the magazine then it got so much more exciting

Georgiegirl - I'm Ali and I'm a magaholic - lol - I have really tried to stop spending so much on mags and got a subscription on cardmaking & papercraft when they had a sizzix boutique on offer - it is def. my favourite mag and I have been quite good (if hubby reads this - no I've been very good!!) but today Quick cards fell into my trolley at ASDA and its not too bad - I really must send a letter of complaint to the manager not good when things like that happen!!

    Love to everyone
    xx

Hiya - was just thinking about that and wondering if you were still coming!!! I warn you I have come down with a heavy cold today so I won't get too close to you!!!!!!

I've not posted here for ages, didn't really have anything to say as have not been up to much apart from making sock monkeys and bag charms for orders!!! I made a quick card a few days back using an aperture card that OAP kindly sent me a while back - will try and put it on my homepage tomorrow.

I too won't be sending out cards - I only send a handful as it is as postage is so costly!!! As I'm not working, it is something that I cannot justify spending but will be thinking of you all and wishing you a Merry Christmas.

Sorry PepPop - I missed your Birthday - hope you had a fab day despite the artic weather conditions you have been experiencing!!!

Craftygranny - keep a look out for the postie!!

Hope everyone else is fine - Liz glad to hear that your hubby has been moved to another site, at least it will be money coming in for the time being.

  • Evening Ladies hope you're all well. Who ordered more cold weather? It was tropical here today until about 3pm and the temp plummeted and is already freezing out which means I'll have to de-ice the car in the morning - deep joy :( I've been putting up Christmas deccies today and as a result the house has had a deep clean. Just got to find a new home for my craft stash - apparently the dining room and table are a necessity for the Christmas period??!!!

KMS & Scatty - thanks for the heads up, for once I had spotted it and claimed (missed two the other month and lost the prizes - my own fault should make an effort to check, but sometimes I just don't get time!), it took me for ever to decide what to spend my win on though! Why is it when I'm browsing I can find loads to buy, but when someone gives you money to spend you struggle to spend it?? Oh and Scatty congrats on your win

Marg - glad MIL is improved today

Ali.B - I think a strongly worded letter of complaint to the manager of ASDA is definately called for - magazines falling into trolleys is positively dangerous! :D

    Georgiegirl
    - I only buy one mag a month now unless there is a fab freebie. I get The Craft Stamper magazine, I did have a sub to Papercraft Inspirations which was OK at first, but has got very repetative.

Hope you're all well. I'm just going to finish my glass of wine and then I might go and play with some paper :)

    hello
I'm just calling in to say bye bye. I've really enjoyed the chat on here but I'm too tired after work to make cards or catch up on 5 pages of chatting per day! I know I've missed a few birthdays recently but I'll send people who have been wonderful enough to send my a birthday card either a birthday or christmas card. Hopefully I can keep blogging and checking out your blogs too.
    thanks
    Uma
  • Awwwww don't go Uma, just pop on here when you can. Everyone understands that due to life it is impossible to keep up with everything, just pop on and off as you can. x
