Flourgirl - hope you have a lovely time at the Victorian Fair - have a drop of mulled wine & a mince pie for me.:)

Scatty - Well Done on your recent win I love the image you used. Lookin' forward to see what you make with tour new kit.

kms - you don't need a tan mat - its only use (as far as I know) is to enable you to put a little embossed line round the edge of a die cut and to be frank I don't usually bother!

Busy day here got to catch up on housework write cards, visit hospital, put tree & decs up (started on Thursday & still have a naked tree in the front room) and, if I'm able, watch Strictly before the results.

  • Afternoon all!
Back from the warm and sunny south - was really weird getting past Lincoln and seeing grass and no white stuff :D The road surfaces have been shot to bits though very bumpy with my sports suspension so am a bit numb :o

We bank with RBS who have been sold to Santader - not looking forward to the switch over :( Have just spent 10 mins on the phone to Tesco as OH's card had been blocked no explanation or anything good job he had some cash left over to pay for his hotel this morning

Glad I didn't order from Craftwork cards in the end - have refused to use them since they didn't take any digi card to Doncaster earlier in the year - if I want any of their stuff I get it from either Crafty Emmas or the Glitterpot as I figure they don't get all my money that way plus I know I'm gonna get it quickly :p

Can't remember who's OH's window was stuck down - hope he's managed to fix it - if not try one of the windscreen companies they'll probably charge but at least it's better than being cold!
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
  • Ohhh I hope Claire saw that as you only got 3 days to claim your prize.
    xx
  • after having a migraine last weekend, this weekend I'm coming down with manflu - if I caught it off my son it cannot be anything else!!!! So to make myself feel better I bought a card making magazine (or 3, maybe 4). So, as somebody who needs to curb her magazine spending habits I have a question for you lovely people (and even if you aren't lovely you can still answer)

If you could only buy one cardmaking/crafting magazine a month, which one would you buy? And any particular reason why?

I would be interested in people's replies as my parents have said they would pay for a subscription for me for Christmas but I don't know which one to suggest.
