  • What a day - why do we do this to ourselves each year (bah, humbug) - gonna have a cup of tea then the wine is getting opened - I have my eye on two large glasses of red.

Just waving hello and sending hugs to all.

Marg - hope all is well with mil. Glad you had a nice night and hope today is easier.

    Take care all, Thriftyxxx

    Evening ladies,

Don't get me started on Santander!!!!

I brought Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine yesterday and to my suprise  i have a letter published in there! I sent it ages ago when i first started making cards. But i am happy nonetheless :D

I read on here a little while ago about nesties being cheap somewhere but i can't seem to find the posts, could someone point me in the right direction please? :A

I received my secret santa pressie today, as my hubby is expecting some parcels for me in my name he opened it saw what it was a taped it up and has put it under the tree!! :( But thank you to the person who sent it! (even though i organised it i can't remember who my buyer was lol :rotfl:) I will be sending mine on Monday :)

Off to watch Sky +'d X Factor x
  • KMS - I think the Craft Superstore were doing pre-bundled sets of four for £56 but if not then Oyster Stamps are doing any four sets for £60. Well done on getting a letter published.

Hello! :j MIL seems a lot better today sat out of bed and asking to go home - such a difference from yesterday and so good to see. Think it will be a few days yet before they let her home as she is very wobbly on her legs.

Bunbun - sorry to hear about the problems with Craftwork cards their answers weren't helpful and they should have said about the delays in the first place.
  • Bunbun not sure i dare tell victoria about your email from craftwork she's mad enough as it is . I know they were a great offer but you'd have thought they'd have been sent before now. That's all she ordered so must be those that are causing the problems. She won't buy from there again. 2 weeks and not a word from them is awful. They took the money within a couple of days though.

Rainmac hope everything went ok today.

Dawnteabag. Glad it got to you okay and you weren't disapointed with it. When i posted it i said to my oh i bet thomas has his eye on it when it arrives .lol.

Don't know about santander i bank with halifax but wish i didn't they are just as useless.

Morning Ladies. Hugs to all who want one and Congratulations to all our winners xxx

I got my Craftworks order last week (Tues I think) but it was only 2 goody bags, I didn't order any other bits. I think with the different offers daily and the bad weather they have bitten off more than they can chew!!! I do think an auto email on an update would be better than keeping everyone waiting and wondering if they are going to arrive before Christmas.

Rainmac I hope your Fair went well yesterday and you enjoyed your wine and choccies.

Marg Glad to hear your MIL is feeling much better.

TomsMom I hope your DH is doing ok with his treatment too.

Its thawing like mad here again, thank goodness. It does look a bit strange to see the grass again lol Work at the shop (Bakers) was absolute madness yesterday, I think all the oldies were remembering wartime and getting the freezers stocked up just incase lol instead of the usual 1 loaf that "will last me a week" they were buying 7 plus breadbuns and cakes!!!! I was cream crackered when I got home and fell asleep watching strictly.

I have a few Christmassy bit to blog today and we are going to a Victorian Fair with friends.
  • Thanks everyone Ive just been and chosen my winning images:j also my prize came yesterday from America that I won with stmapin with the dragon a few weeks back its a bamboo tablet that hubby set up to my compter last night and you can draw on it etc I only had a quick play last night but it looks like i will have hours of fun with it:j
