Plus a phone call today from 0208 454 7445. Asked for ***** and I told him to remove me from their database.

THEY ARE A rude and premium rate phone call conning OUTFIT and must not be trusted.

The numbers are all different but come from a STOCKPORT call centre.

They have cost me time, inconvenience and phone call costs.

    Not to mention the stress.

I notice they have been investigated by Mirror.co.uk

I cannot post the link sorry as I am new.

These c**** have called me FOUR times today.

    Silent usually.

Reported them to Ofcom and registered our details on TPS. Don't have any high hopes though. :(

this morning i received 4 or 5 missed calls from this company ,between 1:50am + 4:00am. all tel no's start with 0203, but all are completely different numbers.
Then i got 2 txt msg, 1st msg - about 7am, asking me to call them because they have good news regarding my credit application.
2nd msg - exactly 1hr later, now i have to call them immediately (also giving 2 different tel no's to call in each msg)
i googled cdf and 1st link got me to this very impressive looking forum site
i have never applied any kind of loan or credit service online, and i honestly think that if i ever needed one of these type of payday loans then i cannot afford to have one anyway
if anyone could advise me whether i should just ignore it , or should i be taking some steps to protect myself reargding this, i would be very grateful

Well, this 10 page thread is 8 years old, and is full of people posting how much money these scammers have cost them, either by using card details posters have given them, or by making fast bucks from conning the gullible into using phone lines costing about £1.50 per minute.

Perhaps a quick read of this thread might be useful?

So, on that basis, I would have thought, in order that you don't get ripped off, in any way, you just ignore them.....

    Lin
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

i have recently had dealings with this company (CFD) and got billed for a total of £59 i havent applied for my money back yet but will be doing so shortly for a refund. I did finally find a loan from a local lender without their help but to be honest CFD were actually very helpful and did try to organise several loan options that were unfortunately unsuitable for my needs. I found them to be very transparent about the phone costs etc but only time will tell if i actually get my money refunded.

Did they really pass your details on or did the loan companies get your details from another source.

I too was ripped off by this company. My partner said I was an idiot for believing the crap they told me. This happened just yesterday. I was told specifically over the telephone and the calls are supposed to be recorded that I had been approved my loan and that it would be deposited into my bank within 2 hours, but I had to ring this number to confirm my identity. SHe said do not worry about the cost of the call you don't pay a penny, we don't charge you anything and by the way congratulations on getting the finance you applied for. Yes like many others, I believed the rubbish, I was told it was a premium rate number but with the added extra don't be put off by that you will not pay a penny for the call. There was no mention of pay for the call and beg for a refund. So feeling extremely miffed at the cheek of these scumbags I did a lot of digging around and well whoopee dooo.
Follow this link and it tells you it all.
companiesintheuk not allowed to post the link as im a new poster, so type this into google chrome and you will find the same pages I did,
The company is in administration and has been in talks amongst other things since December last year. The latest update on the company was done yesterday, showing the company was not trading and was when last checked on april 19 2014 in administration.

Anyone from CFD who wishes to try and talk their way out of this one then please come along and amuse me. I have just paid a pittance compared to the phone call for the legal documents supplied by companies house. All 81 of them.

Can anyone please answer this question for me, is it illegal to continue to operate and lie to the customer by not telling them that the company is no longer trading and that they are actually in administration. Also as administrators take full control of where monies are paid too first, would it then be illegal to tell a customer that the call be will paid for by them whether or not it is a refund is irrelevant. I doubt that I would be on the top of the administrators list of the recipients or creditors already owed with there chubby fat fingers already in the pie. You see I am thinking to myself out loud and possibly putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5, but I think its an internet money fraud, theft of personal and financial details for the purpose of what? they are not in a position to offer me anything so why did they want or need my information. Can I claim compensation off the state for stress and unnecessary worrying about what they are going to do with all my details. (probably not but we all like a dream).

Seriously people what I have said is true and can all be found clicking the link. Wake up and smell what they are shovelling, because trust me, ive got a £25 - £30 quid telephone charge that my partner is not going to let me forget in a hurry. After tying this I will be back in the cage, chained up for the forseable, having just bread and water until my debt is paid. (that was a joke but seriously feeling like a right numpty, I need some sort of peace of mind with this one, revenge for being duped etc.)

I was applying online for a short term loan. I received a text message from CFD Holdings (also known as Horizon Finance) informing me that I was successful with my application & I was asked to phone them on a 0161 number (local rate)
I called the 0161 number, spoke to one of their reps & told to ring back in 10 mins but to call 0906 4001865 (premium rate) with a reference number (supplied) & a password (usually a colour) I was informed the call would cost £1.50pm but I could reclaim the call cost at a later date.
I called he 0906 number because they convinced me that I had been successful with my loan application, & I needed the loan urgently. After 15 minutes on this line, & the way in which their rep was 'dragging out' the call by constantly repeating the information relating to my application, I realised it was a scam & I told their rep why I was ending the call.
Having spent further time looking into their business practices & enquiring about a declared 'refund' I contacted their 0800 195 1980 number to make my refund claim of £23.75
    I was asked to provide a copy of my phone bill (paper version) showing the call/number/cost etc. & to forward it to stuartegerton@horizonfinance.co.uk or;
    CFD Holdings
    7th Floor
    Dale House
    Stockport
    Cheshire
    SK1 1TA
Once I had confirmed that they had received my refund claim & the copy of my phone bill, I was told they would deal with the refund ASAP. After 4 weeks of waiting, I called them again on their 0800 number only to be told that the claim would be dealt with in 6 weeks time (45 days)........ After the 6 week period has elapsed I called again & I noticed they were stalling with the reason why I had not been reimbursed with the £23.75 Then they found a 'loophole' in my refund claim.
Because my telephone provider 'Talktalk' had not changed the title name on my bill from D Grimshaw (mother, now deceased) to M Grimshaw they would be unable to send me a text message with a long numbered code in order to claim the £23.75 from a Post Office in cash.
I am now convinced that this company is preying on the vunerable in terms of finances & compounding the misery involved. They should be closed down immediately as I have found hundreds of complaints on various forums in relation to this company & the practice of deception which they follow.
The reference number & password in question provided by this 'scam' company:
    Ref: 001043387144
    Password: Green
