So, in the words of the Dragons, I'm out.

If enough people retweet - maybe we can attract Mr Bannatyne's attention - or at the very least, bring some publicity to this awful situation.
http://twitter.com/#!/darkblue217@DuncanBannatyne - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/doo6y - Dragon demands £75 from cancer sufferer to cancel membership. Disgraceful.0 -
What is so awful about it? Perhaps you should read EllaKeat's post.
I think it is appalling that you are trying to use moral blackmail.
I work for a company who provides loans. If someone was to give us a doctor's letter stating they had cancer, we would write off the loan to ease the burden on them.
It is an awful situation they don't have the compassion and decency to waive the cancellation fee.
I think it's appalling that you are trying to use a previous poster's own experience to set a precedent.0 -
Exactly
I totaly disagree with these vendettas that people seem to involve themselfs in.
If no one says anything - people get away with what they want.
The fact that you would prefer that a person with cancer should pay a £75 fine for leaving a gym because they are no longer able to attend says a lot more about you than about me.
People involve themselves in these kind of things because they want to help others and seek justice where they see a blatant disregard of dignity, compassion, empathy and reasonableness.0 -

I did not say I would prefer it at all do not put words in my mouth.
What I mean is I disagree with these vendettas that have been started by a post on an internet forum.
Do we really know the full details of this? for all I know the OP is from a competitor company posting BS.
Thats why its better to stick to the reason for this board consumer rights and not moral rights.0 -
We assume that all posts are legitimate until proven otherwise. I believe it's important to trust others; I'm sorry you do not.0
