Few weeks ago I was at a junction under a bridge and because of the bridge couldnt see to my right or left till i pulled forward when lights turned to green. Whilst waiting for lights to turn to green I could hear wailing sirens but was unsure where they were coming from. I pulled forward but didnt pull out completely as I wanted to make sure the lights were no where around me, as it happens the ambulance was coming from my left so i waited for it and got a barrage of abuse from the guy behind as I was holding him up. Had I just pulled out without checking where the lights were from it would have either got back end of me or front end of car behind. Some people really have no sense!

^^ Some people drive around with the stereo at full blast and don't even hear the emergency services vehicles at all.
And i'll tell you the worst offenders, boy racers closely followed by young women (who are probably drowning out the noises from their unserviced for 5 years cars).

  • A lot of people on here need to remember it is a speed limit not a 'target' so doing 20mph in a 30mph zone is not illegal just annoying but if that is the speed that the driver feels safe and comforatble at then that is the speed they should be doing..... i do however find it very very annoying.

People who indicate and move in the same action on the motorway also get my goat
Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly, and for the same reason.

Not all young women drive around in an unserviced car. I am a young female driver, my car is serviced every 12 months.

Not all boy racers drive round with musc blasting, i know loads and not one has a radio in their car because its "uncool".

You can still get fined and pulled over for driving too slowly, as its a hazard.

Google driving slowly and see the results
I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
    Seek legal help if unsure.

But what you have to remember slow driving causes other drivers to get angry hense causing them to make silly manovers.

The slow driving in the case of a few this morning , consisted of eating breakfast ( toast and a narna ) putting makeup on and txting someone. All these are driving without due care and attention which I think you will find is an offence.

last night was a good one , ( Im deaf and i heard and saw the blue flashing big red fire truck behind me , Unsure where it was going I pulled over and waited. Everyone in the line had seen and heard it appart from some silly woman behind me who started to overtake me . I realised the firetruck had pulled over and carried on my way . With her attempting to accellerate next to me . Thank heavens for a 2ltre to her punto.

There that is all .. Ps before yoiu start going on about women , I am a woman and have done both my advanced driving test and bikesafe. So at least i know I can drive ( sorta):)

People who don't know the correct speed limit probably the worst.
Followed by people who slam breaks on on a motorway because they might have accidently sped up to 72mph
People who break from 40 to 30 on slight bends. And its 99% old people. Why? When I'm over 70, I'll be flying around corners on 2 wheels, knowing I'm not long for this world.
People in front of me who let other drivers out. And by other drivers, I mean half the city. Go and pickup your benefit cash another time, I'm trying to get the f*ck to work.

The worrying future of elderly drivers?

And the people waiting to pull out probably want to get to work too and are annoyed when noone lets them out. With a constant stream of traffic, if noone else lets them pull out they'll be there waiting till the rush hour has finished. Plus if you're late for work, set off earlier.

It can be pretty infuriating. It's fine to let someone out if the lights ahead are red and you're not going to get much further anyway. But if the lights are green, you want to get through 'em - not sit behind some idiot who decides to be nicer to those in the side road than those behind them.

Even worse is someone who slams all on while driving down a busy but flowing main road to let someone out of a side road - it happens all too often. Lame brains!

^^ But lets say your pulling right out of a side road and there is a pedestrian crossing to the left (which normally makes a great opportunity to pull out as it stops both lanes), then instead of seeing this, some dozy git just stops right in front of you and blocks your only chance to pull out.......
