We had a similar situation but that was a woman who lived around the corner but for some percular reason decided that you should part on our street, for us a note on the windscreen worked but myself and a next door neighbour did play them at their own game on one occassion and block them in :-) The other trick that we use when neighbours are having a parties and we know that we need to get off the drive later in the evening is we park our cars on the road to stop them blocking us in.
Good luck, it is really frustrating, people who haven't experienced it just don't understand!0 -
Simple! Just put an onion up his exhaust and wait for the towtruck to arrive!0

For money saving purposes, I find that a spud is cheaper !0

An even better one without breaking the law, pop open the cars fuel flap and leave a half empty bag of sugar on the roof, wont even want to chance starting the car then!!!!!0

I had this very same problem, with next doors friends continually blocking my drive.
As a 16.5 stone ex doorman, I'm afraid I had to resort to the 'having a word' scenario. Well, it sort of became the 'dragging someone from their car to have a word' scenario, but you get my point.
I tried being pleasant and courteous, but that was simply interpreted as weakness, and led to me getting a mouthfull of abuse/physical threats. Hence the above action.
Sad when things have to get that way, but it seems we live in a 'couldn't give a f*ck for anyone else' attitude society.0 -
We have an annoying shared drive and then a car space in front of window too.
what really annoys me is when people use our drive way to turn round? - is this legal?
Ours is a proper drive way - dropped kerb. roads just been resurfaced and we have the white line
You say that every house in your road has a drive way? do you have lines? where can visitors park that isn;t blocking a driveway?
Oh and guys - my dad was silly one night - in a dark road with poor lighting he was parked 1 foot over the edge (the car could still get out) - my dad received a telephone call from the police at 5am asking him to move it as the homeowner had called the police. These people didnt then leave for 2 hours, when dad had alreayd left for work at old house. So they do take action if you use the registration number!!!0 -

Couldn't have been the Postie having lunch, cause they all finish by lunchtime!!!!0
