Are you sure you are not a raving loon Souk :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:you must be for taking me on
Have a great Christmas with your family and thank you again for my new look - I have had so many compliments it's enough to turn a girl's head but you have played a big part in that :T
KC glad you have a few things to look forward to already:j
Presents wrapped for the little ones just need to do the grown up pressies tomorrow and put together a playmobil castle and the Sylvanian Hotel but that is for tomorrow night.
OH is persuading little one she should sleep in her own bed as I have had very little sleep the last couple of nights and could do with a good night although I can't remember the last time we had a little one in our bed they are usually quite happy in their own thank goodness.

I have been reading a lot of threads where people seem very stressed I have to say that due to the snow I am quite chilled (in a nice way) as we are not going out and about much and when I do go out having to take it slowly so don't feel all stressed out and there are fewer people about so shopping is easier too. I did get to the sorting office today and there was quite a queue but managed to collect my post so have most of my parcels and the ones I haven't got I can manage without. A few things to get tomorrow but not much and I am going to make an attempt to deliver my foster child's present as that was in one of the parcels I collected today but he is quite high up so not sure how that will go.
Got a lovely Christmas card from my little girl's adoptive parents with a lovely picture of her on the front which was really nice.
And most of all we have a decent amount of snow which I have been asking for so it would be very churlish to complain now and it does look pretty
So remember folks it's only one day and it doesn't have to be perfect in fact our most memorable Christmases have been the ones where things have not gone quite according to plan

Yes, I think the snow has a positive effect that we *do* have to go more slowly and it does look festive
How lovely to hear from your little girl, it sounds like she has found a loving family and will grow up in a secure home. That must put your mind at rest.
Have a happy and peaceful Christmas - Oooh, it's now officially Christmas Eve! :xmastree:0 -

Just been to deliver a present to our foster child which involved a bit of a walk as he is quite high up but I did promise him I would see him before Christmas and his present only arrived yesterday.
Still a few pressies to wrap for OH, Mom and the big ones and then we have a 11pm service which is not likely to be well attended could be 3 of us we shall see.
I am quite relaxed but very tired due to the lack of sleep but little one is eating some tea and I have told her that if father Christmas is to find her she needs to be in her own bed so I am hoping for an undisturbed night after constructing the hotel and the castle  so it is not likely to be an early night:(
