Sound like yesterday was a good day :j.

We got a bit of sushine washing the car and discussing the garden. We have the widest conifers i have ever seen in my life . A neighbour who is a gardener by trade was going to cut them down by half and then tidy the sides up later in the year - but we hate them. They have ruined the grass and constantly grow like crazy. So as Bob would say - we have a cunning plan :D. We know that somewhere in the good 5-6ft width are concrete posts so we are getting rid of them and then for now going to use chicken wire to keep the dogs in, until such time as we can afford a proper 6ft fence. We can block the only entrance by moving a tall plastic shed and next doors conifers hide the rest so will still be secure.

If we could get rid of all the conifers our garden would be huge!

Hope you get the call. x

We inherited conifers so tall that it was only when we removed them that we discovered that we had an electricity post in the garden  it did make a world of difference when we took them out but there was a lot of them and to get the roots out was a pain but worth it. The church next door was pleased too they got more light and a view :)

Yesterday finished badly with our own social services making unreasonable demands on us so today should be interesting as I have refused to comply with their ridiculous requests they could very well come and remove our placement :(

I am not going to worry about it what will be will be although they are trying to twist it in saying that we are not up to the placement because of events over the last year rather than looking at what they are asking us to do and realising that they are at fault

Oh well let's hope I get the phone call to cheer me up. I have taken Mom out this morning to a pancake do so that was nice :)

I have had an apology from SS perhaps I should get it framed :D

So all is back on a sensible level thank goodness and we can use our judgment as to when he needs medical attention. We also get to meet his new Social Worker tomorrow which is about time but as he only works part time I am not expecting much.

No phone call yet not really surprised and no letter from the SRA but my census form has arrived I wonder whether I should not fill it in and see who comes to collect it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi lovely lady. My tinternet was down all week but fixed now and so chuffed that you're back on the roll.

Social Services sound like a right pain in the rear.

Take care of you and I'm right behind FF with her sentiments. We're meeeting on Saturday. I think there maybe a cocktail or two involved!!!
