  • Hugs for you all xxxx I had a friend who lost a baby at 21 weeks pregnant. They were told he was a boy, he was blessed and buried. A few weeks later they were told he was actually a girl, so went through a full reblessing, few months later the hospital apologised again and said that he was definately a boy .

That is absolutely terrible to add to what is already an awful situation.

I have to say that the Coroner's office have been marvellous and have been very patient and understanding with my daughter and her partner.

I am considering applying for a job don't want to say too much about it as I doubt I will be considered and although not in the legal field with some training I could do it - it is local and involves travelling to various places across North Wales so I wouldn't be tied to one desk and office which would be nice. The application form is  and the closing date is Friday so I will have to tackle it tomorrow it is going to be hard to reference my experience to the job requirements of which there are 15 all of which have to be addressed using STAR. It will be a miracle if I can actually finish the form but it will be good experience pity I am out until early afternoon but I have printed off the form and hoping that if I sleep on it things will sort themselves out in my mind:cool:

Just catching up DT. Sorry to hear that you have had a difficult time. I am right with your son re the foot op. I had a major accident on my foot 8 weeks before I was due to get married (severed tendons0 . They gave me the option for stitching up there and then or waiting several weeks to have some other kind of surgery - cant remember what it was. I opted for the first choice - didnt want to be in plaster for the wedding and as it was the plaster came off two days before. The surgery worked but on very cold and damp days I do get cramp in my toes and cant use them. Other than that all well.
It is no wonder that you are exhausted you have so much going on. Take care of yourself. Good luck with the job application. STAR application are quite straightforward once you get your head around them. Sounds like a good job though, we might cross paths on our travels some time. Good luck

It is obviously a job focus day today with the closing date for the first job, a phone call to see if I was interested in a part time administrator post to cover maternity leave for which on further investigation welsh is essential  the clue for the person phoning me was that the job advert was in Welsh, and an email from the census people to say I am on the reserve list and that I need to complete 3 hours online traning (for which I will only be paid if I get a job) in the next 3 days and send off id stuff asap after waiting 3 and a half months for them to decide whether I was suitable or not - this being the weekend my OS son is home and we are celebrating Mom's birthday I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I am afraid I did the alternative and then I looked at my sig and thought that none of these jobs are going to help me achieve that so I just need to concentrate on my main aim and ignore these distractions.

You made me laugh, it was when you 'sort of' looked at checkout at mr t that made you look at law again. These are just a way back in, if you want to take that sort of option, something to get you back into working.
