There are loads of positives about you having your little girl...where would she be without? You have given her a fantastic start to life given her beginnings and what could have been. You are teaching your children to care for others less fortunate and the positive list of what you have done goes on and on.
So be proud that you have planted the roots for that little girl and given her every chance to go on and blossom in life xx0 -
DT, if you want any more help with the card PM me x0

KC please can you explain how you make Mars Bar cake positive when I have to make it without licking any fingers or bowls and then watch other people scoff it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Today went better than I expected although no thanks to Social Services important potentially distressing information which they should have passed on to us in advance to give us a chance to come to terms with and which the adoptive parents thought we knew of course they didn't
They also suggested that despite us and the adoptive parents expecting them to meet our little girl today that it be delayed as the full on process was not to start today as we thought and were led to believe because the adoptive mother has had to give four weeks notice at work one look at the adoptive mother's face I knew exactly how she was feeling after all they have waited years for this so in the end I had to say that I thought it would be a shame if they were not to meet her today. The meeting went well and they are nice people still hard though. They will be here again on Saturday and the following Saturday and Sunday and then from 23rd they will be coming every day and taking her out on their own. We have another meeting on the 29th and if all has gone according to plan she will leave after that weekend they are aiming for 3rd Nov but I wouldn't be surprised if it is a couple of days before that. So she will be with us for just under a month a bit longer than we expected I thought she would leave in a couple of weeks which she would have done if the notice could have been sorted sooner.

You made me laugh out loud :rotfl::rotfl:
Whatever number of standard size Mars bars you use you need that many ounces of butter and that many ounces of rice krispies chop the mars bars and butter into small chunks and melt slowly over a low heat stirring constantly until it is nice and smooth stir in the krispies press down into a shallow tin to get a smooth top and cover in melted cadburys dairy milk and chill cut into squares. Easy peasy but goes down well. I wouldnt do less than 3 mars last night I did 9 because there were quite a lot of people to cater for.

Not wanting to spoil the positivity at all but was it you or KC that was going to dye their hair a mad colour last Christmas.
You could combine a tattoo with your silver wedding celebrations
At least she has some focus now. It may not be what you want for her,but she has made a decision. Do you still want her to have involvement in your new venture as she is presumably artistic?Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

I think we both considered it but I have gone more conservative over the year as I had a hard job to stop my hairdresser keep dying me red so I am now a mousey blonde I was thinking about purple  slight mental aberration there me thinks :rotfl:

Mars bar recipe sounds good.
Guess your daughter just has to do what she needs to do...maybe she can't face living in the house at the moment after losing DD.She may need to come to terms in her own time x
Hope everything goes ok with the adoption0 -
My daughter has read all my diaries and as a result I won't be posting any more.
