Sorry life is pants with the little one, as you say its the professionals that can be so adamant on things being done a certain way. The main thing is that she is happy, and from what you say the meetings with the new parents are going ok.

  • You lot are all mad but you did make me smile I haven't seen them since the originals either KC but they were unforgettable :rotfl:

Just finished clearing out ODs room with her and now she and her dad have gone off to paint her new place. She saw a lovely set of fairy lights in the shape of butterflies and other insects so I ordered them for her as a new place present but there was a hiccup with the server so they lost my order could only see the payment so sent me an email to ask me to repeat the order and said they would send it next day delivery which meant it was here as soon as it would have been otherwise and they sent a gorgeous set of scented flower tea lights to say sorry so she was very pleased with them

Oh they're great! My sister would tell me off if I bought them for me :) she's made a point of asking me to think "adult" in this house, and actually, they *wouldnt* be right for me.... but you OD is an older teenager still, isn't she? Perfect, they're gorgeous :)

I've just realised - I'm going to *have* to have a Christmas tree this year - my mum is staying with me for 4 days ... its going to be a *really* interesting Christmas....

I'm glad you haven't seen Allo Allo either, DT, I was starting to feel a bit of a wotsit ..... here's to us all

  • They are gorgeous KC I could be quite tempted myself actually:o other nice things on there too but I am not looking in case I get tempted - yes she is 19 so perfectly suitable and will brighten up her room a bit which is a bit dismal but I am sure will look better when her dad has painted it and she puts the soft furnishings in that we bought together which was a really nice thing to do and we both enjoyed it:D

DT how's the new stage of the diet going? Just wondered if you've had another weigh in, and how you're finding eating more normal food again.

That website has some super things.

I had a deprived upbringing and never watched Allo Allo.

Oops I forgot about the update on the diet the figures are now 64/84 so I am on the final 20lbs stage 2 is great although I have made a bit of a slip up today :o I am allowed some protein at one meal per day and sometimes I have chicken or a very small yummy steak but often it is a tin of tuna but today I accidentally opened a tim of salmon by mistake which is not allowed but I couldn't waste it so I thought s*d it and ate it made a nice change from tuna. In another 10lbs I will move to stage 3 and life will get even more exciting :)

I also had to buy some more trousers after only 5 weeks so this time I have bought two size smaller so hopefully they will last a bit longer good job I only bought one pair last time bought two this time but the first time I wore one pair I didnt notice a pen on my lap and have ink all over them which has not come out despite copious quantities of desolvit  so I still only have one pair to wear outside the house and one rather loose skirt I definite have a very capsule wardrobe but I don't care I don't want to waste any more money than I can help before my shopping trip with Souk08 in December I am asking for money for Christmas off OH and my Mom so I can splash out:D

The only problem is my upper assets are not shrinking much at all so will be even more prominent now they are not surrounded by flab:o but I shall walk tall and flaunt them :rotfl:bit annoying to still be buying size 18 tops but size 12 bottoms

Well done on still maintaining the weight loss. I don't think I could have wasted the salmon either.

I find my top doesn't shrink as much either unfortunately. Though bras are fitting a little better so must have lost a little.

Maybe you'll lose more at the top as the diet progresses.

Pity about the ink on the new trousers, I know how you feel, I got a drip of red wine on my favourite top last night that I only bought in August, really upset as it won't come out fully, thought it is a mottled effect so hopefully won't show too much. I've washed it again today and hoping that the stain will fade a little more and not be too noticeable. Could you try dyeing the new trousers to hide the ink stains?
