    Morning everyone

raining persistently here! Harvest festival at church but no plans apart from that. DH gets home tomorrow from Portugal so ordinarily I'd be rushing round like a mad thing getting the house in order. Not now I fly tho!! :D another couple of HH's & the house will be fine. The whole family have now got skype working, so we had a good chat with my parents yesterday. The s*ds had taken the laptop onto the terrace so we could see the swimming pool behind them!!! Not fair!!

Hope everyone is ok, especially toots, LL, LW & Diva

    Good morning all!

It was an early start for us today...my sis was working at 6.30! I didnt have to get up with her, but I was still aware there was someone up and around in the house though. Thankfully its almost over. I have a stinking cold which wont shift and I could really have done with a long lie and lots of sleep! Typically, I couldnt get back to sleep though!

Never mind, Im up now. Ive got some bananas to use up so am thinking I will find an easy recipe for banana muffins to use them up....

Will put the kettle on first and muddle through some of the list as I go

    xxx

  • Good morning  Good job I did my gardening yesterday as it's tipping it down again :( Going to have a browse on here with a cup of tea, find a list or 2, then make Welsh Cakes for breakfast (in honour of the Ryder Cup, possibly :rotfl: ).

    Happy Birthday to Fedup&skint

    Happy Birthday fedup

Horrible day here - I think it is for most people today. Luckily not enough washing for a load and I cut the grass yesterday.

I've prepared the veggies for a roast dinner but not sure what time I'm cooking it yet. DH is over at DD1's looking after her dog (has been since Wednesday), he stays there overnight and comes back here in the day but he's not back yet.

Not much else going on, hope everyone's OK.
