Hmm looking at that it does look like a lot
How did you get on onestep?
you did well!! I did quite well too - tackled the corner of doom in the kitchen, where tons of gibble seem to accumulate. It's now clear!! :T:T Sorted some washing too. Hurrah!!seafarers_wife wrote: »
sorry ladies for letting the side down
you haven't!! You have done loads - compare it to the weeks before you joined flylady. Give yourself a pat on the back for what you have done rather than flagellate yourself for what you haven't
Pigpen: she's gorgeous!!!

kazw I have a 'birthdays' book which i also keep anniversary dates in or any special date and look at it at the beginning of every month to see what i need - something like this - although this is a bit expensive

I just found something I didn't know before (I expect everybody else already knows!). When you click on public profile under someone's name it says what they're currently doing eg I'm currently viewing weekly flylady thread. I found it when I clicked on my name to find other posts I'd done.
I often can't remember what I've posted and have to check
I hope it only says what we're doing on this site. Imagine if it said all the things you were doing!!!0 -
Pigpen what a wee cutie - she is just gorgeous - you must be grinning all the time!!! Special healthy egg stay put vibes for Sally and that she gets the pregnancy she obviously is desperate for - how long will she need to wait to know if it has worked?
kemo welcome to the thread - if you want to get organised you are in the best place - just remember it wont happen over night - I have sent you a pm.
Kaz thats lovely news about the babies and the wedding - that will keep you busy! hope they all have healthy pregnancies xx
I was at the church this morning doing the raffle for the community lunch and made up the monthly magazine - I was tired when I came home so chilled out and read the paper.

My own review of this first week as a flylady.
Well, I seem to have done rather a lot of knitting today It was on my list and so I did itThe particular jumper is a Rowan Yarns one which has been hanging around for at least two years. Gorgeous, but a huge knit! Baby steps!
Achieved, are all the dailies, and the various level tasks for the week (obviously not all in one day!) And we have a nearly clean close :j
The youngest lad's future new bedroom looks a lot clearer, and I've explained to youngest lassie the reasoning behind sorting his room out first, and she's totally cool with it (as long as she can get lilac paint in her room!) I think I've also learned a lesson in being firm with relatives who were storing stuff in our house. The world didn't end, and I didn't do my usual and take responsibility for their gubbins. You guys really helped me with that.
I feel so unaccountably happy when I walk into my kitchen and it's in control. I love cooking, and cook pretty much everything from scratch, but sometimes get put off doing other things, such as baking, because of the hassle of finding everything and finding places to put it back! I can see that changing big time.
Our bedroom is now more restful, and more like a bedroom should be. Clean sheets, aired, not dusty, and dingy.
I've also noticed that the children are more responsive about picking up from a clean base. It makes it easier to identify the mess I think!
I have a couple of health issues- nothing serious, just psoriasis and some arthritis associated with that, and I need to remember to take my vits and put on my horrible creams. I'm adding it to my lists because it's not going away on its own! Hope no one minds, but the lists have been a great aid to memory through the week!
I am also feeling a lot less overwhelmed about the VAT for my business, as I've tried to do a little every day, and some folk, particularly Seafarerswife have made some absolutely stellar suggestions.
I'm writing this to clarify it in my own mind the good that has come about joining you all, and also to let you know the wonderful effect your encouragement and support have brought me this week, and also to say Thank you. Support like that doesn't come along every day, especially when you're new in a group, and I really really appreciate it. You are all wonderful. :ASaving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.0 -
Greenbee/Pigpen -might want to check your facebook/virus scan re 'liking' 10 things you didn't know about men and anybody who clicked on their linksThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
