Hi all, i'm not a newbie to cleaning, im just rubbish at it, liive with DH and DD (2) we've lived in our house for 3 years and i just cannot keep it clean! Its not dirty, its just messy! That is the key to flying, get it tidy, get rid of the clutter, have a home for everything and then it will be easyThere are sooooooo many jobs that need doing that i don't know where to start, i would like to join you on this thead and TRY and get my house in order, i just got married a week ago, and i cant be a messy wife. Lots of us have been messy wives for decadees so it can be done ;)

Don't get me wrong its not just me, DH is the same, But i am a SAHM and he does wonder what i do all day - so do i sometimes! lol You have a 2 year old so unless you have a full time Nanny I should think she is enough to occupy you full time ;)

any advice would be greatly recieved!

<Smugsmile> New online account opened, just got to wait for the paper work to arrive, :j:j:j

Plus sold an item on ebay I really didn't think would sell, plus the buyer has paid already :j:j

Did you look at Lloyds with vantage 4% interest on balances £5-7k, they let you have more than one (I think the current rule is 3) and you can circulate your money through them to take account of the £1k deposit required per month;)

Time for a cuppa to wash up and then make a cake and then today's demon job is tidying the side shed and maybe the playhouse if the weather holds.

Pigpen~~ you are a lot younger than me, my brain must be getting old.........plus you have loads to remember, your own children, your sisters etc, DS1's gf + Babe etc etc. I just don't know 'how' you remmeber say all the birth weights etc.

Dusty~ yep I sure did, I have a major prowl round this site, and the internet, looked at loads of banks / building societies. Owing to the current ecomonic climate I don't earn enough each month for some of these so called current account!! but for now I have found accounts, I am happy with.

Right off to find something to eat.

Afternoon everyone, just a quick pop in to see how you all are. Will read the thread later on tonight when I am settled down and not bouncing around doing things..lol.

Also was wondering if anyone was up for any
HHC's today.. DH is off playing with the steam trains till 4pm and for some reason I have lapsed with doing things, so thought I would play catch up today. It's only really surface stuff but somehow it makes it look worse..lol

So who fancies joining me for a HHC at 12.45pm :)

    I'm not 'that' much younger...

I remember most of the birth weights of my siblings too.. I'm just odd.. I remember phone numbers too.

Could you write them in the back of your diary or on the calendar?

Kazw - I never remember either. I always have to check our wedding certificate to get the date right - luckily DH is just as bad. Birthday Book/old diary, write them all in plus the year of birth or you never remember how old the children are.

Dusty - like the danish apple cake suggestion but will you please point me in the direction of the recipe? I knew there was a good one floating about but I couldn't remember where I had seen it.

Activity so far, very little! I dragged a couple of baskets of logs in if that counts. I amy nag someone to empty the DW shortly but it does annoy me that I have to ask, especially as DH had a word with both yesterday about doing it unprompted as he is bored of his dinner tasting of washing up liquid *looks innocent*
