Hello well an ok ish day so far apart from DP being in a vile mood since he got up at lunch time. Boys have been for their swim, they're finally getting the idea that I can't afford to do everything as group was going for Chinese after (£10 each but I've got 2 kids!) so they've come home for a cooked breakfast/lunch thing instead.
Have done 2 washerloads, ones trying it's chances on the line other is in the TD. Threw out a bin of crap (trying to reduce bag use) and another of recycling stuff. DW been on, emptied and refill started. Folded all the school tops. Just about to do some of the thing I need to post next week - which is up to about 11 now.

Good afternoon  It's been manic here - long lie; swimclub; supermarket; football (6-0 win :j:j:j); phone call with DH; lunch; garden; cup of teaETA - looks lovely Dusty and anything that uses 3lbs of apples up gets my vote. I still have a large tree of cookers to use up.
Shall I post you my Mighty Fine Apple Pie recipe laterYou pile the apples into the case and they mush down to a delicious American-style pie. I may have to make some myself :T
Going to finish this tea, then more in the garden, then a lie down :rotfl::rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

A lovely hour in the garden but now drizzle.
Fence decision made, just need to get it ordered and arranged for some quotes to install it.
Italian Apple cake is delicious, only uses 4 apples though (dessert ones) but I'll share later. I don't even have apple trees but get given windfalls which is great. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

In between sitting down and steaming my head again, I've cleaned the top of the fridge, washed and put away the trays which live there, washed slow cooker pan and pressure cooker pan. Quick scrub around the sink. Put small turkey joint in oven. Cleaned hob and two frying pans. Removed very old bananas and wiped worktop where they'd been. Having a little rest now and will then get on with tea. DH has a meeting at the club just after 6, so he wants to eat early. Doing mash, gravy and some veg to go with the turkey. Oh, I've transferred washing from WM to TD and put a towel wash on.
See you all later. I'm looking forward to that cake recipe, as I've got some oldish eating apples left.0
