Not done much flying today, have managed to walk into town for some bits and bobs (needed some nighties and 'big pants') ready for Friday's op...trying not to think about it if I can help it BUT I still need to get ready and organised...and I managed to get the week's shopping done, have stocked up ready for being off my feet, was a bit shocked when the bill was £112 but when I think about it that's only 2 weeks worth (as I usually spend about £60) hey ho!!!Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0

Quick question........I know I could ask this on a more relevant thread but I trust you lot.....I was looking at getting a credit card to pay for insurance and upcoming Christmas/birthday presents, but I don't earn enough.....so, I have been looking at the "Very" catologue site where I can pay 3 installments over 3 months(not for insurance, just pressies and with no interest).....does anyone else use the site....any comments? TIA xx0

sockdrawer what a lovely post and we are soooooooo pleased that our support has helped - you are making great progress and so long as you remember to take baby steps you will achieve what you want - well done on what you have done this week :T:T:T:T:T:D:D:D and maybe your relies wont put on you the same when they realise you wont stand for it now. You can put anything you want on your list and if it helps you stay organised then thats great - I have a dailies list that I tick off everyday - sad I know! - and its not all housework.
msgnomey - well done getting the shopping in - at least thats something heavy you wont be doing for a while - this week will whizz past and you will be there before you know it - we will all be with you in spirit and keeping an eye on your progress.

Evening campers
Sorry I didn't get back after my HHC, I got slightly distracted making my fish pie
Then DH came home from the steam trains and we sat down together, and watched a couple of Come Dine With Me episodes that I had V+'d.
I can update that my house looks lovely and clean, apart from the gibble on the bed that I need to find a home for. Will do that tomorrow after my ironing session. Fish pie has been eaten and DH declared it very nice and tasty - very unlike him as he doesn't normally comment on what I dish up. So it must have been good..lol Plus I was feeling really proud of myself as I had made a perfect bechamel sauce, to go in the fish pie, earlierI am now sitting here watching Merlin while DH is updating his bank accounts
Hope everyone is okay, and has had a productive day
Hugs to everyone, especially Toots, LL and DivaMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Oh no Dusty is that doing the rounds again, I know I have it 'hidden' so if it's on someones profile I don't see it
Decluttered chicken jambalaya which I found in the freezer, was yummy. I forgot I'd made that. I should probably do my inventory at some point but it's been quite exciting digging through. I know one shelf just has the icecream we brought back from Wensleydaleso expensive but so so nice!
I've done most of my list, boys are still both up and driving me bonkers so I've sat behind the screen for a little while! Don't know why they are just being horrible little things.
Been a few posts that made me rethink what Gran used to say, 'a place for everything and everything in it's place' unless something has a place it can't be put away, which is where I think I am struggling with this house. All the stuff on the floor ^^^ over there has no place. I'm shifting piles of homeless stuff from one place to another. I need to do some 'allocating' of space or flinging if we have no space for it. I'm really missing the old house so much, I know it was double the money but I miss the space so muchespecially garage space as I look over >>> at all DPs car stuff in the living room on the floor/table it's a mess and I spent ages cleaning melted plastic and solder off my cooker.
One day I might be more organised...........
