I can't imagine you are neglecting them and their needs and she should be glad you have found someone who makes you happy.. especially when they find out you have 2 grumpy teenagers in tow!
True
I didn't drop them off at a locked house last night and then go home - that was their dad - they had not taken their keys (whic I ask them to *in case* I'm not in...and we hit heavy traffic and I was home 10-15 minutes after they are due back from their dad's.
Thanks for the advice all.
What is making me really cross about her attitude as I have no intention of making this permanent/full time yet - we are no-where NEAR that stage and I know the LSB doesn't either - makes you cautious, when you've been burned. But I am having LOTS OF FUN *wrinkly wrinkly*;) (at Pigpen who also thinks we shouldn'tbe getting down and dirty;):rotfl:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Happy Birthday Fedup - and isnt it time you change that name? It is a self fulfilling prophecy, and you know it. I liked HappyZoe and variants.
Pigpen - I was a very late bedwetter. I didn't even notice/realise I had done it mostly, and I was fairly immune to the smell as it was mostly always there. If you do it early in the night your stuff pretty much dries out and you do not realise you have done it till someone tells you off, and if she is anything like me she has no control over the situation. I struggled to cope with it, I couldn't see what the issue was and found it unfair when I was even mildly in trouble for it- I didn't do it on purpose  but I guess it was very hard for my mum to deal with.
My stupid hand went numb yet again and I just dropped my apple pie on top of the roast chicken. From the bits that survived the drop we very much recommend Lakelands enamal pie plate. Chicken and apple works suprisingly well.
Iroing mountain to do yet - probably save that for later when DH is dropping SS2 off.
eta Valli - sorry but she needs to grow up, and treat you with the same empathy she will expect when she has her first BF. Glad your DS is being mature.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
HHC at 3.45 anyone?Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.0 -

You been out in this weather doing the gardening?? :rotfl::rotfl:
This has reminded me, of when I got together with OH, my step son asked me how he should behave towards OH's 2 children should they meet! :rotfl::rotfl: I told him I expected them to behave as adults because that is what you all are. (their ages when I met OH, were 41, 37, 25, 20,!) TBH I was sort of shocked the step son even had to ask me that........Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

DD just phoned me from her athletics competition -
DD - hi mum what are you up to?
Me - cleaning the toilets darling (I actually was!)
DD - yeah, right, like who cleans toilets!
Me - urm....me...every week!
DD - oh, I always wondered why they didn't smell!
Omg, she's 11 years old and can be so stoopid at times!
Anyway, all bits of toilets cleaned, front, back, pipes, totally blitzed. Also, floor by back door and in clinic cleaned with scrubbing brush. Master bedroom bedding washed again as it didn't smell quite right (!?!), towels for work washed and dried. Living room and dining room dusted because dh did some DIY and created dust! Think I'll do another HHC from 330 until 4 xx0 -

All clean and tidy here! Keeping on top of it everyday with a HHC. I also attacked the bathroom yesterday so I hope to keep on top of that too so I can give it a quick wipe each day.
So starting tomorrow I am going to attempt to have a go at some of 'the list' although TBH I am still kind nervous about that HUGE list. Hey Ho I'll see what I can get done.0
