  • No, on their extra easy plan you have free foods (eg eggs, lean meat, potatoes, wholemeal rice and apsta, quark, baked beans in saunce) that you can eat unlimited and then 1 healthy dairy choice ( eg 28g cheese) per day and 1 healthy b choice (eg 2 weetabix) per day plus 15 syns (eg a milky way has 6 syns). there is a list of healthy a and b choices and all foods are given a syn value unless they are free.

    :hello: can I join?

I'm getting married March 2012 and would ideally like to lose about 2 stone before then! My problem is snacking, especially on biscuits at work :o but I've just bought an exercise bike so am aiming to do 30 mins on that each day if possible :)

  • HI everyone

im getting married at the beginning of december, i joined slimming world in March and so far ive lost 3 stone 2 1/2 pounds following the extra easy plan, ive gone from a large 16 (probably 18) to a small 14 and im nearly in a 12 so im really pleased. ive got less than a stone to go to reach target but im not fussed if i dont do it before the wedding. ive got enough pressure at the minute trying to organise everything without analysing every pound. ive had slip ups on the way but as long as its coming i dont care how slow it is.

I think the trick is to find out what works for you, i love slimming world but one of my friends just cant get on with it so everybodys different.

Im trying to lose 200lbs in 2 years started last week and have lost 10lbs already....

    Hi all,

I'm getting married next September and am aiming to lose 100lbs. I know it's a lot but it can be done - I have done it before myself. I am calorie counting and use this site http://www.foodfocus.co.uk/ to add up my calories for the day - it's UK based rather than American so has most foods in the database, and most importantly it's free. I have also been using www.3fatchicks.com forum for support.

    Good luck to everyone! :)

  • I want to lose about 1.5 - 2 stone before my wedding next May.
With my first son only put on 2 stone and that went straight away, but with my second put on 4 stone, oops!, and 2.5 has gone in 4 weeks, but thats stopped now.

Just waiting for first son to start full time at school next week, and then going to look into some classes at the gym.
I've never really dieted before, or worked out, so bit scared! I have always eaten healthily though, I wouldn't ever have rubbish food in the house, but am always hungry it seems as am breastfeeding, and bubs is a big chunky boy, takes a lot of energy to keep making all his milk!
LBM January 2017 £34k will have paid back finally by my DFD May 2021
got my first store card on my 18th birthday, never known a life without the grey cloud of debt looming over me. 18yrs and the end is finally in sight 🤩
  • Im trying too, would love to lose 2 1/2 - 3 stone before wedding (30/4/11). Lost 1 stone so far on Slimming World. Its the easiest diet ive ever done. Ive just gone 'off the rails' recently with the diet! Back on it now though x

Haven't had a good day today - it's snacking that gets me every time!

ohhh thank you ladies...I've just got home from pilates and getting something ready for dinner tomorrow. I was just about to go back in the kitchen and raid the snacks but you've made me think again. Now if somebody can PM me in about an hour to keep me going....:)

How are you getting on Ellay?
I wanted to snack and then ended up with an apple which I was quite impressed by!
