Parking Enforcement APCOA (Luton Airport)

Can't see it very well in the scans above, but if you notice the postcode are very similar to the both , the reason is that they are the same company, roxburghe are well known thieves on here, and their letterhead of GW are the same !Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
It's NOT signed by Michael Sobell, solicitor! :rotfl:
It's a standard letter with a facsimile signature on it, just as predicted in our sticky thread 'PPC letters, what to expect' (click the link on my signature to see the stickies at the top of this forum board).
Roxburghe and Graham White are one and the same, as taffy rightly says.
Roxburghe pass themselves off as a solicitor to try to frighten people into paying, you only have to Google either name to find out more. Here a pepipoo summary of how Roxburghe 'call centre kids' pass themselves off as 'GW' (Graham White solicitors) on the the phone:
http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=52809
The phone calls are rare - most people do not experience these - and if it happens you can stop them easily. And the whole predictable letter-series is nothing to worry about. They NEVER do Court.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

They are so efficient, immediately after 14 days the issue another letter, this time it's FINAL NOTICE. The letter was printed January 14th but only reached me TODAY and they give 7 days, also a tactic to put you under pressure and not leave you time. Anyway, thanks to this awesome forum, I'm ignoring and I hope that my scans will help other people in the future.0

I have the exact same letter (well two in fact).
Got to love these clowns ,they don't seem to be able to get anything right do they ..
"It is your responsibility to REPAY this account to us immediately,"
Odd I don't remember GW or Roxburke or APCOA or Luton Airport lending me £122 , so why are they asking me to REPAY.
Filed under B as in BIN !!0 -

Sad though as Luton Airport used to be sooooo good. Now they are just prostituting themselves:- Threatening to take people to court for dropping CUSTOMERS off for their flight!
- Charging CUSTOMERS extra if they want to avoid the deliberately lengthy queues....!

It's the same thing, that's what this thread is about! You have got the advice already on your other threads, stop worrying and IGNORE APCOA and IGNORE their debt collectors.
Honestly it is simple to do so, I have ignored a private parking ticket 2 years ago.
Nothing happens to you at all, no Court, no bailiff, no CCJ. Just letters which you can laugh at.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Quick question just as a matter of interest.
I generated a "Entry into Bus Lane" begging letter from APCOA Luton Airport whilst using a hire car.
Obviously as they can't know who the driver is the letter went to the keeper i.e. the hire car company.
The hire car company forwarded the invoice with a nice letter saying they had told APCOA to send any future correspondence to me.
Strange thing is I've had NOTHING since, no Roxburke , no pretend solicitor Graham White etc ..absolutely NOTHING ! (This alleged incident occured in October btw! )
Any thoughts as to why this may be ?0 -

Good to see a hire company do the right thing!
Possibly they realise they have little chance of proving the driver. Also as they could not use the usual "The RK is also liable" they have decided to forget it.
Saves you the bother of ignoring them!:p0 -
But that's the daft thing ..the hire company have told them who was driving as the car was hired on a one driver and one driver only basis ...lmao !!
Also the hire car company wanted £35 for forwarding APCOA's letter, as they reckon their contract I signed has this as a condition i.e. an admin fee re parking offences.
I haven't paid that either and the hire company has not bothered to chase it.
Not that they are actually due it at all anyway ,the small print of their contract is quite specific about which parking offences they mean ..basically they are all statutory ones NOT PPC..so the hire car company tried it on once and then gave up. lol0
