I felt really good AF last week until my late Friday binge, so have decided to quit buying at home, unless I have company, or cooking with it.
Heres to positivity. :T
That's a good plan HLS. I'm similar but I do relax the rules at weekends:o. As a cutter-downer my rule is weekends and special occasions. The special occasions include having people round. Trouble is, there are an awful lot of occasions at this time of the year!0 -
Afternoon all
Still no change in figures for me. But only had a few glasses of wine last night as knew I'd be driving first thing this morning.
Went to Mums and made stepsons birthday cake - a grinning skull and crossbones. Was very pleased with it and stepson said it was "awesome". High praise indeed from a teenager!!:rotfl:
Hope everyone is ok?

Hi all,
1 more AFD please!
I had several drinks last night, despite saying that I was going to be AF. Got pretty drunk and made a t*t of myself by getting all emotional and crying and generally behaving like a class "A" nutjob.
Good job I was only with 1 person, but I still feel awful about it
I wish December would hurry up and be gone, I am absolutely hating this month.
Hugs,
Caz

Alcohol heightens your emotions (but you already know that). I've had quite a few Class "A" nutjob moments in my time too. I'm sure the person you were with understands. Try not to feel too bad about it.
((hugs))

Caz, you are most definately not alone, when you mentioned you felt like a bit of a nut job I really related.
I am absolutely hating this month too and it sounds like it`s a bit of a nightmare time for a lot of people, please dont think your alone in all this. I`m just emerging from what I can only describe as a living nightmare and I dont know what came first the alcohol or the breakdown. I think I was heading for the breakdown and the alchohol just added fuel to the fire. It started with "needing to get into the spirit" because I had promised the kids we would put the tree up so I drank very quickly a bottle of wine whilst we put the tree up but it had the opposite effect and just made me panic at how near Christmas is and how little money we had. I spent the next 5 days in a cycle of panic drinking, not sleeping, not eating and literally shaking like a leaf constantly. I know that I would have coped and pulled myself round a lot lot quicker if I wasnt drinking. Anyway I havent drank for two days and for the moment (and I would love to say forever) it has really put me off drinking.
I am so sorry for blurbing on everybody but this is probably the one place where I`m going to get the absolute truth back to me and the one place where I can re-assure anybody feeling like a bit of a nut job that you are not alone out there and also to say well well done to all thos AF`ers.

Sorry to hear about your problems trasi but it does sound as if you're working your way through and coming out the other end. :T:T:T to your honesty. It's the only way to move forward.0 -
Morning everyone.
Well done to everyone clocking up the AF days before Xmas, and good luck to those who are not doing so well - including me:o
If anyone is running a Mon-Thurs challenge, I'd like to go for three days this week (tonight, tomorrow and Thurs) to try and get back on track.
Sorry for such a short post - I've been away and wanted to get my AF intention (especially for today) down on here for the extra resolve:D
I'll have read back later.
Have a good day:)Smoke-free since Jan 2012 :j Now its just the drink, and the weight, and life in general0 -

Seconded.If anyone is running a Mon-Thurs challenge
I'm in too if there's one being run, for the full Monty, unfortunately won't have time to run it myself or keep it updated as things are manic last week of school and I'm out a few nights this week. Between now and Friday I am going to the pub 4 times  thankfully twice in the evening with someone that knows I shoudn't be drinking so I won't and twice at lunchtime and I don't do day time drinking so I'll be safe....I'll enoy a pint of orange and lemonade instead
Gotta dash, be back later, sorry only read this page, hope everyone okay?DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0
