Just wondering if i can join the thread ? I am trying to cut down on the drinking at home which isn't that easy in this weather x I have only had 3 AF days this month (including last night) and Im aiming for 15.

    welcome-1.gif and Good Luck
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

That was pretty much what I came to say. Made my target in November and haven't been AF since :( I've just lost the motivation somehow. I have been here so many times before, but it still scares me how confident I can be that I'm on the right track to AFness and then instantly back to regular heavy drinking.

A couple of AFDs and you will be back in the zone again :D You can do it:)

Welcome all newbies. I think it's admirable that people are joining before Christmas. It's a great idea to get a few AF days in for December, helps balance all the festivities.

  • Morning all

Just a quickie. Mum is being allowed home!!:j:j Apparently the chest pain was caused by the dye used in the angiogram. She still needs stents as her arteries are narrowing but the consultant says she can come back in early january to have it done. I'm so relieved :)

No more AF days here as had a glass of wine before bed last night. Pleased I stopped after one though and wasn't tempted to neck the whole bottle

I'm out tonight too bearcuus. I'll be dancing (Scottish) so soft drinks are best and I just need to refuse a glass with supper. I find visualising a nice hot cup of tea or a latte on the way home helps. Then I just come in and put the kettle on before temptation strikes. We'll compare notes tomorrow;)
