  • Evening Ladies and Gents,

I'm having a real struggle tonight but having just read back it's made me more determined to stick to my 4 day pledge and you guys are certainly helping me :) so thanks to all of you.

Sim, I'm really feeling for you at the moment, you have a lot on your plate but have faith, be strong and remember when you get this low that the only way is UP...

I find it really touching to read so many kind and supportive words coming from everyone and the thing I really try to focus on is the feeling I have when I wake up in the morning without a yukky head. It's easy to lose that thought as the day goes on and I cannot tell you how many times in the last 2 hours I have eyed up the wine in the fridge but "No no no the devil is not gonna get me tonight"

Pen I'm on no 3 for our 4 night challenge now please.

That's 4 for December please Shaggy.

Well done to everyone achieving thier goals tonight and lots of hugs and best wishes to those amongst us who are struggling.

  • Evening all

(hopefully) just a quickie as in middle of apprentice!

DB - will PM you shortly

jeffgeorge - I thought you were a man!! Anyway, more importantly, your post struck a chord with me. I want to be the best daughter, wife and mother I can. Excess alcohol compromises that. THAT is what has to change with me.

Janjan1 - take the wine out of the fridge!!! If its not looking you in the face it may not bother you so much. Waking up with a clear head is the best thing in the world.

Diagonalman - well done on giving blood. Would love to but am petrified of needles!

    AF here tonight :T

I'll have a fresh head but sadly no more smilies this week:( I've been out with a friend and we had a glass of wine with lunch. I'm pleased I didn't have more than just the one and slipped back into AFness tonight. That's moderation for you!!

I'm planning to catch up on a few days next week but I seem to be taking Merry Christmas a bit too seriously:o

:Tto everyone who has managed an AF night tonight.
