  • I'm sorry, I appear to be causing a problem here and that certainly wasn't my intention.

The part of Shaggys post I couldn't understand was her pointing out this is a money saving forum. It certainly made me feel like I was being told I was in the wrong place and, to be honest, I don't feel anyone on here knows enough of my situation to judge at present.

I don't want to cause any disharmony in a group which seems to get along so well so I hope everyone can now move on.
  • Hi Pen,

I was good last night and intend to be good again tonight :A

    Many thanks

Don't be silly Ragdoll, things are sometimes read differently by different people, we are all jolly and lovely on here :) (well mostly ;))

I'm at work so I can't stop too long - not for one minute did I ever intend to upset anyone that is not my way :D

I'm just not a doctor and am very aware of that... that's all really...

I totally apologise if I've upset anyone that was never my intention...
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    PS -

I love it when people say "I don't want to appear unsupportive but...." meaning that they know damn well that they *are being* unsupportive.. Yet they go ahead and continue to be unsupportive anyway! I've never understood that.

    Ragdoll -

    You have my wholehearted support.

Hope you're having a good morning.

Thank's for that - at least we know where we all stand now.:o

Shaggy, isn't that a bit harsh, Ragdoll is trying to come to terms with her drinking after all.

    PS Good morning everyone.

Do you think? I was merely trying to point out that there are no medical people on this thread - to the best of my knowledge?

  • Hi, Shaggy,

I fully appreciate your comment re medical help. I have no problem with that. It was the reference to this being a MSE site that grated a bit. I know its an MSE forum but I like to think we welcome all comers.

Oh, I've just read your post another way and have just realised you were only emphasing the lack of medical knowledge available.

My fault for not reading more carefully - my most humble apologies.

  • Thankyou to everyone who has offered support to me over the last couple of days. I do appreciate it.

In no way did I ask for medical advice or opinions and did not expect to be given any, so cannot quite understand why anyone feels I should need any?

I'm sorry for any upset caused. Good luck to everyone on thier journeys.
