omg ......Shaggy, RN & Ragdoll, it's so easy to take things the wrong way in emails / texts / any written word, cos you're not there to put in the tone of voice & smooth any misunderstandings over....I've skimmed through the posts & I hope all OK now...from my distance it's easy to see how offence got taken where none was meant (iyswim, wot?)
have just pulled curtain pole down off wall so popping off for now, in full view of village in dressing gown...*picture scene* (for some reason i felt had to put the hood up, like everyone doesn't know I live here...) & already got caught in back garden earlier in, er, sloppies by farmer hedge trimming (his field @ end of garden)
as I said earlier...:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
3 nights for Pen and Shaggy, please. ta.
Got to do some work now - that's the only problem with returning to freelancing ... at least it keeps me away from pinot grigio temptation ...Jan: 24/23 Feb: 21/22 March: 24/250 -

I have a bone to pick with Lurks. Why why oh why did you post the link to the discussion time forum! I've been sucked into it's lethal grasp and will never be set free. (Actually it's right up my street so thanks!)
Hello Winebox and other newbies/returners.
Had a quick read thru, suitable hugs, oh dears, hurrahs, well dones etc to all
I am stressed. Very. Might go to the docs, as it isn't shifting and I feel like I'm teetering a bit. Tonight had to go to a meeting held in a pub. Been to that meeting many times and never been an issue. Tonight on the 20 minute drive there was thinking.....glass of wine...mmmm....maybe a pint...yes a nice cold pint.....maybe a double vodka in my coke......No definately a pint...will last longer.
No-one there knows I don't drink so could of so easily just ordered a 'drink'.
I didn't drink. Settled for a coke, but it was a mental struggle. I know it's because I'm tired, stressed etc and I know drinking won't help any of that. But tonight I REALLY wanted a drink.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Well done - it is so very easy for me (an alcoholic) to give in to temptation. As an alcoholic, I see drinking as the easy way out in the short term. However I know if I pick up a drink, my past becomes my future.
I don't want hangovers, fear, self-loathing, self-pity, etc any more.
I don't have it have it either.
It's only by stopping drinking can I see how full life is without alcohol, and without the struggle of trying not to drink.0 -
I've had 2 glasses of wine tonight, so there is half a bottle left and a bottle of orange bacardi breezer. I'm not having anymore (its my bday 2moro so it would be a good excuse) I seemed to be in the swing of not drinking, it didnt even bother me but 2 or 3 nights drinking in a row(not even excessively), and its back to square one.
I dont understand why I get back into the 'habit' so quickly£100 - £10,0000
