Hello my lovelies

Jo, I'm going to follow the Lurks approach to the challenge & boast if I get a day or 2@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0 -
Just popping in, to say that I managed an AF night on Saturday - despite being out with family for a big boozy meal
So, 15 for me now please Shaggy.
No hangovers and only a couple of glasses had all weekend - a bit of a miracle given the company we were with and I wouldn't have had the guts to do it without the support from this thread, thank you
Have a good evening all, Pen xThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

Hello
I've dipped in and out of these threads over the last couple of years, and started of with good intentions at the beginning of this year but lasted a couple of weeks, if that.
I've gone from being a weekend binge drinker in my 20's to a daily, mostly at home in the evening, drinker now (just turned 40). I'd be quite happy if I could just get back to the Friday/Sat drinking, but once 8.00 pm comes I get an irresistable urge to open a bottle. I think I'll just have one glass, but it's usually 3 or 4, or more (large ones) every evening.
I knew it would happen one day, but earlier this evening my son (5) said he didn't like me to drink as it wasn't good for me, and said couldn't I drink water or milk as it was good for me. I tried not to, but got all tearful and said it was because the programme I was watching was very sad.
I found myself trying to justify it to him, saying everything in moderation, and one glass a day is good for your heart. I knew I had more than that and said I would only have one glass a day in future. I often say this to myself but I have never been able to stick to it. I hope that I will this time.0 -
