Late start for Shaggy this morning. I'm on 17 AFDs.
Off to catch up on what you've been doing.

Morning all,
Pen Day 1 completed thanks
Some really good articles Pippi thanks will have a proper read later
365 I hate my corner shop as it is a rat infested pit yet I am guilty of venturing there when my supply runs out and always take a shopping bag so the old couple next door can't see what I have bought!
GC I love your posts, always very thought provoking, your latest one made me wonder why I have a problem with alcohol and my sister doesn't? (don't suppose it really matters but food for thought nonetheless)
I have completed the whole of October so far on my drinking diary and I am now at 14 binges and 4 AF days - think that tells me something!
Hope everyone is ok today - HB sorry bout your diagnosis should you not have antibiotics?0 -

You're welcome - by the way - I'm one of 4 - the others can take or leave drink - our father was an alcoholic - none of the rest of them bat an eyelid with drinking - not an issue for them.
Life can be very odd can't it?Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

It is strange Pippi, my Dad drank every day but only a couple of pints and my Mum used to binge drink at weekends so I deffo know where my tendencies come from, shame I had to take after them both :rotfl:
Quiet in here today where is everyone?0 -
Hi guys :hello:
Finally I've got a chance to catch up with the thread and post! I've just read back from Friday and there's some really thought provoking posts. I'll have another read of them later.
I've had a busy few days mainly going through uni applications and sixth form prospectuses with DDs 1 and 2. My brain has completely turned to mush but I think the end is in sight at last! I wasn't AF Fri, Sat or Sun but the worst day of the three was me having 3 glasses of wine which is very restrained for me so I won't beat myself up about it. Was AF last night though so 4 for me please Shaggy
Pen can you please put me down for a 3 night challenge, tonight to Thursday. Thanks
Well done to all those who are feeling positive at the moment, there seem to be a few which is great :T:T and hugs to those who need them :grouphug:0 -

RN
That was my problem exactly RN. I drank in my leisure time and enjoyed it but needed to break the habit. It seemed very unfair that work continued as per usual but my own time was spoiled. Do share any ideas you come up with.clarabell13 wrote: »Hi guys :hello:
