In the three days I posted here, (leaving out my first post a few weeks ago) I've been reported at least 3 times for abuse (..abuse isn't when people have different opinions to yours, or more money than you have Puzzcat...), been told I have a problem that requires psychotherapy and a problem with lying, been called insensitive for mentioning something other people here don't have, been told not to shoot from the hip or accept the "consequences",.and..that the reason you've treated me this way is because you've had problems with people in the past and are wary. I have also been banned. (Goodo!) well, if you have had problems in the past, wariness won't help you. What will help you is looking at your own behaviour because, in my experience, the problem with this group is it's response to newcomers. It isn't fair to treat new people with suspicion because of the actions of others and yet you still do it.

The only relevant problem I have and the reason I came here is I wanted to cut down my drinking. Seems you need more than that to fit in here. Reminds me of how criminals in prison have a hierarchy - murderers at the top and child abusers at the bottom, but they're all scum.

Fine - so maybe you could make that clear to people when they first arrive? Say "we've had problems with people in the past and we're really wary and likely to be rotten to you until you do A, B and C"...or whatever.

BTW - constantly squealing like stuck pigs and getting people banned who do not agree with you is not the answer. It's so childish. One thing I do want you to think about is this - why get someone banned because they have something you all want? If one of the "accepted people" in your little clique won the lottery, would you treat them the way you treated me?

I would hope not, but you probably would...

I get the impression that you create a new thread every time someone comes along who upsets you? - and I mean all of you. So, you're on thread 10/11? Doesn't that tell you something about yourselves? That YOU are the problem?

Off you go and create a a new thread then and continue to believe that you are not the problem.

For the very few people who didn't act like !!!!!!!s here - I did win the money, so you were right to just take me at face value and anyone who says otherwise is an idiot.

And...yet who among you asked me for money? Come on - be honest! Oh no, you can't can you? One of you asked in public, others asked me in private. I am too decent to name names and won't.

Me and my sweetheart are off to Machu Picchu and Teotihuacan on Thursday and I haven't had a drink for 11 days, for those who care about my DRINKING and not my MONEY.

I wish you all the best of luck with your problems. I won't be posting here again.

    Alchera

(shows you how efficient banning is, doesn't it?)

Hope you have a nice time and good luck :)

For the record, we have to start a new thread once we hit 4000 posts and the last one was shut down early by the admin team, not me :)

  • Hiya,

AF tonight so 6 for me please Shaggy.

Also for the record, when I joined and was therefore a new poster, I didn't find that I was treated with suspicion. I was made welcome from the start.

Well done folks. Way to go Jo.
