What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

  • Morning all,

I am hugely hungover today and feel like carp. I really do.

Aiming to be AF for as long as possible, but all I can do is try and stay AF for today and let tomorrow worry about itself.

Thanks for your support yesterday - I was so low.

    Hugs,

    Caz

  • Good Morning Ladies and Gents :)

Hope this finds you all well and happy.

HB - Sorry to read you've been poorly. Big Hug! x

Having spent Wednesday 6th - Thursday 14th October drinking almost solidly, I'm now on my fourth sober day.

Even though I'm very annoyed with myself for wasting an obscene amount of money (which had been earmarked for paying off debts), and making myself very ill (the shakes were the worst yet), I'm now trying to hoist myself up by the bootstraps.

The guilt / self - loathing are immense and I feel a bit lost looking at all the f*ck up's I've made because of drink.

Every time I've drank things have gone wrong - hurting girlfriends, friends and family, losing jobs, nearly losing my flat, debts, ill health, and if I carry on, a slow but sure descent into madness, homelessness, and death.

On a lighter note, having applied for a job about three weeks back, I've now got an online / telephone interview tomorrow :)

Am off back to carry on reading my book now, which was recommended on here by 365days and Jo - It's called 'No Big Deal' by John Coats. A cracking read, and a huge help these past few days.

A day at a time guys,

    Loads of Love,

    Sim x
