Custom roms are available, I got one on mine, and other parts of the world are running 2.2 now, so it'll be here soon:)

does anyone know how this compares to the LG Optimus One or LG Optimus Chic which comes out this month? I was planning to wait fot optimus one but this looks like a great deal...not sure about rooting and whatever else its called to get it to work on other networks but looks a great price

According to Orange this phone will be available on contract within the next couple of weeks if you phone them and ask nicely. Info from an Orange employee.

SIM should be in the back of the small phone shaped instruction booklet. If you already are on Orange with a SIM you phone up and get the top up registered on your current SIM card.

To unlock- go on eBay or NCK Codes etc.

I dont think this is any cheaper than getting direct from orange?
