1. Open up the newly installed Mobile Partner and select Tools > Options > Profile Management from the top menu
2. Create a new entry for Orange UK
3. Click ‘Static APN’ and enter consumerbroadband as the APN
4. Enter *99# as the access number
5. Everything else can be left alone
6. Save the profile
7. From the main screen, select your new profile and connect

Sounds more like a laptop problem to me rather than a problem with the actual dongle however have you tried phoning Orange technical support who will talk you through all the settings etc to make sure the dongle is set up properly??0

Sounds more like a laptop problem to me rather than a problem with the actual dongle however have you tried phoning Orange technical support who will talk you through all the settings etc to make sure the dongle is set up properly??
she did that yes, it took her an hour to be talked through uninstalling and reinstalling the dongle. It still did not work. They did not have any more ideas! most helpful of them hey!:heart2::heartpuls:heart2: I WOULD NOT CHANGE MY AUTISTIC DAUGHTER FOR THE WORLD
