time critical!! eek! ORANGE INTERNET EVERYWHERE DONGLE PROBLEM!

Options
This is not my machine so bear with me...
its my friends mothers notebook....

Acer Aspire one
Vista Home Basic

she started using the orange dongle
(huawei e1752)
in feb by the looks of her install history.

it has recently (a week or so)
begun getting a message pop up whenever the internet everywhere software starts....

' internet everywhere.exe encountered a problem and needs to close and then it closes and windows trys to search for any more info but never stops searching.

i tried:
uninstalling/reinstalling- same issue
updating the dongle via orange website - different look dashboard of programme but - same issue
taking it back to several restore points thinking it could have been a vista update that caused it, as she does not seem to have installed much else recently.- same issue :-(
(however she is still using vista sp1 so expect rarely installs windows updates)

so am currently undoing the last restore, and about to throw it back at her....

just thought i'd take one final try and ask people cleverer than meeeee!!

one small problem - she thinks i can work miracles and is coming to pick it up TOMORROW!!

arrrgh:(

We'll try this to be getting along...

Go in the Orange Everywhere program and copy down the settings for the Internet connection. APN, dial number, username and password.

Install CCleaner. Go to Tools > Startup and disable the Orange software from starting up. Reboot. Download, save and extract this software to the Desktop(but don't begin installation). Remove the dongle from the machine and then run the setup file inside the Mobile Partner. Once installed, you can plug the dongle back in.
