Just a quickie from me today

Hippo Birdy Math:kisses3: & Thanks for the lovely photos yesterday Vicky A

Hubby off work today & tomorrow then we're off to Yorkshire for a few days with my Nan on wednesday, trying to get everything ready before I go but with Hubby & Spud under my feet it is proving diffcuilt! Want to get a few things cooked & in the freezer to save throwing them out, need to have some sort of fly lady clean around before we go, get Nan's Xmas & birthday pressies wrapped (well, I don't want to waste the postage later in the year!) & still need to fit all the normal stuff around this! Eek! At least I don't need to cook, still got tons of SC chicken leftover;)

    Have a good day everyone:wave:

Morning all, congratulations, commiserations and hugs to those in need. Today need to visit the nurse for a BP test, then off food shopping. Need to get loads as cupboards are bare, also need stuff to make Christmas cake. DS birthday on Friday (5) so need to get some bits and pieces for his party. I've bought some party boxes so all the kids will get the same - jam butty, carton of juice, choccie biscuit etc, then there's no arguing about who's got what. It's not the sort of food my kids usually have, but hey it's only once a year.
Nothing else OS today, GTG and get young'uns ready now, catch up later hopefully,

    Hello Everyone!!! I'm baaaaaaacck!!

Well, actually I've been back since wednesday but not had chance to post!! Had a fantastic time and the weather was 35c every day!!! So obviously I was well chuffed () when we boarded the return flight and the captain announced it was 14c in Liverpool

Back at work yesterday and had a really good day - made a £2k sale which has really chuffed me as I've not been doing very well lately! Whilst I've been off though, 2 people have left (only need 1wk notice so both have worked notice while I was gone) :( One was a girl I really got on with but she's gone to better things so I'm happy for her really... And the other is a guy who i don't really get on with!! Also, they had a brand new contract waiting for me - they've doubled my contracted hours :j I have never worked the 6hrs I was previously contracted - I always do at least 12, so when I had a weeks holiday I only got paid for 6hrs and really missed the money, at least now I'll be able to take holiday without feeling guilty about needing money!

Not really a very OS day today - spent all weekend FLCing the flat in an attempt to clear the mess OH created in my absence! Start back at uni tomorrow so I'm going to do some background reading/research for my dissertation because  I'm now a final year student

Also need to pop into town in search of the last few bits I need for my Xmas presents, and then I'm all done :D

    Bfast - Porridge
Lunch - Sandwich of some form
Tea - Risotto made with stock I froze from a roast I had agggges ago

    Happy Birthday MATH!

    Morning All.

Kids all up and dressed - house not too bad. Could be better, but for a monday morning - wow! It's usually like a whirlwind as been through it on a monday.

Veg soup worked great in SC yesterday - soup for dinner tonight. mmm mmm mmm.

Got to get DD a winter coat and some clothes today - aargh money! She really needs them - everything she has is very summery, and hardly fits. I can't complain really.

    Happy birthday math.

Take care everyone and happy OSing.:j

    morning everyone.

And a very happy birthday to MATH.

It's chucking it down here, and not going well already. I had a restless night as i woke up at 4 in a panic. DH had turned the fridge off for a bit yesterday as it had frosted up, and i couldn't remember if he'd turned it back on or not. Luckily he had, but i didn't wake him to ask.

when we got up, one of the cats had an upset tummy, and head missed the litter tray completely and then walked it around the kitchen and dining room. So DH dealt with that but didn't have time to make packed lunch. Not a good start to not spending a lot.

    Plans for the day:
    • work on computer this morning to tie up last few loose ends for work.
    • my dad and sisters are visiting this afternoon
    • my desk is being delivered this afternoon.
    • DH will assemble the desk this evening, and hopefully move the computer downstairs, and carry some boxes of wedding presents down for me, then i can unpack them.
    • ironing needs doing. Then more washing can be done.
    • i need to make chilli for tea - thanks for the inspiration snowy.

first thing for the day though is to get dressed, as the cats seem to think it good fun to attack my dressing gown belt. Right - best organise my plan of attack - already started by gettting mince out of the freezer. ;)

    Enjoy your monday everyone,

    Michelle, xx
