I will stop the IVA straight away but I needed to know how long it could be before I file.

It will take as long as you want it too.. And also make sure you get an appointment at your court when you are ready.

Please think though that it is what you want, It will be hard work, stressful but worth it if you are sure.

I am stressed as it is so dont think it will make much difference.

The court told me that I could see the judge the day after I take the papers to them so there wouldnt be a wait

    Hi goonergirl,

Us guys are pathetic, I felt as though I'd been castrated when I had to sell my Subaru Impreza; 1.5 tonnes of absolute driving magic. Didn't bat an eyelid when we got repossession order for the house, lol.

The papers you require for bankruptcy list your assets, income, expenditure, personal circumstances, reasons for bankruptcy, etc.

It is easier to complete these online, then you can change/alter things as you need to.

    https://www.insolvency.gov.uk

You register, then make a start, and save along the way.
