On the other hand, I don't want to leave it till much later, in case anything goes wrong with computer, internet connection etc.
Dilemmas, dilemmas, lol
Dont forget, once you have printed them off, you can always make any changes in pen, which is what will happen if anything needs changing when you go through the forms at the court.
Personally, I would get them printed and ready now, one less thing to worry about!10 1p's are better than no 10p's !!!

Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected become the expected?;)

Hi
I agree with Mike - any changes made by Clerk will be done in pen so better to get them printed off so you have one less thing to worry about. If there is still any query , then the or will ask you about it during your phone interview.

What prompted me to join you all is two things:
1. The refreshing spirit of the board of honesty and openness.
2. Genuine, impartial advice from people who don't necessarily have 'expert knowledge', but do have 'been there, done that, knowledge'.
I have seen that lately there have been skirmishes about accuracy of advice, etc. I do understand that everyone gives the best advice they know of, and we take that advice at our peril.
But, also, I have been a bit confused by the recent hostilities, and it makes it really hard for (relatively) new, anxious about their situation, people, who want help and advice.
Is it possible for EVERYONE to just back down a bit, and give and accept criticisms and corrections with the spirit in which they are intended, which is to help those who are beginning, or going through, or have been through the difficult enough process of bankruptcy?
Sorry, Mike, if I have stepped on your thread-toes - I would just hate this fantastic thread which has helped me so much, go down in flames because people can't give and accept comments on posts.
Thank you all for your valued advice. 40 hours till bankruptcy

This definitely is the tone which should prevail on here. We are all touched in one way or another by the BR process. Some will know more than others regarding the process but we should certainly not come across as a "closed shop" to those needing support and advice due to bickering over who knows best.
What I would say though is that bad advice is worse than no advice!!!!!!
I for one wish I had found this before going BR but am happy now to offer my 2p worth if I have had experience of someone else`s situation. Or offer a bit of moral support until another more knowledgable poster comes along.
If I can help or put one person`s mind at rest or ease their journey through this most difficult process then that is good enough for me. :beer:1/11/06 -1/06/07 BSC #42

Whoops_Apololypse wrote:Hi guys. We've not posted since early December - we just wanted to get Christmas over and done with before we started down the big 'B' route. Also we were off line for a month thanks to BT and Sky not talking to each other! We've now been to CAB, with another appointment tomorrow afternoon. We are going to loose the house but wondered if anyone has been in the same situation as us?
We have £80K negative equity in our property because of secured loans. The CAB is advising that we let the mortgage company and loan company take the house back. We are then left with £80K debt which then becomes unsecured. We then file for bankruptcy and the £80K will be wiped out. Would you say this is correct?
Also we are worried about being homeless with a 3 and 6 year old. We understand that we are not eligible for council housing so would have to look at private renting. How does bankruptcy effect our ability to rent privately? Do agencies do credit checks etc? Advice on this would be much appreciated.
It's all a huge mess and although we're trying to take it one step at a time it it's very daunting and worrying :-(
Hi I wondering if there was anyone around to advise us on the above? We've had a few responses on the renting side but nothing on the negative equity bit. We're seeing the CAB tomorrow and just wanted to double check everything. Many thanksIn 2010 I would like money left at the end the month rather than more month left at the end of the money!!

Hi everyone! Thanks for all your posts, you have been helping keep my head on!
My statement of affairs looks terrible - I seem really well off!!! The thing is, my expenditure with my debts has been about £250 per month more than my incomings, but take the debts out and I have a tasty surplus!
Below, I've put my soa. My partner and I go halves on the bills, so I have put the full amounts for bills, and included the money he pays into the total amount available. Then all other expenses like food and petrol ae just mine. I hope that makes sense!
My wages: £1048
OH's input for bills: £420
Total monthly available: £1468.
rent - 425
council tax - 78 ( will go up on next bill but haven't had it yet)
elec - 120 (the joy of storage heaters!)
sky - 52
phone + internet - 30
life ins - 13.50
car ins - 24
water - 30
petrol - 150
food - 140
clothing - 40
m.o.t/tax/service - 41
pets - 30
mobile phone - 20
house ins - 17
t.v license - 11
total - £1221
surplus - £249!!
I know the sky tv will be found excessive, but we never EVER go out. I cut my own hair, I don't go to the dentist. I haven't been able to afford things like that for years! The tv is our only source of entertainment as I'm sure it is for loads of people! £240 surplus is huge isn't it?

OMG Guys.... remember that site I found,
http://blog.piggybankrupt.co.uk/2006/09/piggy-bankrupts-bankruptcy-blog.html#c116813928040381473
I have found this response to a blog on the site... I hope this person whoever you are read this and post so we can try and help you....
I have attempted suicide 3 times due to my debts and now I think that no-one will listen to me. I married a man who was singluarly useless - never helped me financially - I am in process of divorce and even though I managed to get him out of the home the depression hit so deeply that I was paralysed mentally that I couldn't complete all the jobs on the house I have to do and I have been avoiding work - I haven't paid my tax for 2 years and if they send me to prison I will definitely kill myself - my life is not worth living. I need to get teh house ready to sell but I can't get it done fast enough. It is too much to explain but I feel that once I have settled all my debts via bankruptcy or otherwise I will have to kill myself as at 40 no-one will want me as I don't have any money0 -
